[[There's only a moment's pause before the door opens]] Hey, come on in.

[Bakura will see absolutely nothing outside the door though, because Keroro has plastered himself to the wall next to the door. After whipping his head back and forth to make sure no one has followed him, he slips in through the door.]

All clear, Bakura-dono! I wasn't followed, de arimasu!

[Giroro follows in behind him.

He moves around the apartment, checking for bugs because you never know with evil clones.]

[[can't help but be amused at that as he smiles]] Unfortunately, that guy already knows where I live, [[points out, closing the door behind the ~~Frog brothers~~ invader duo.

And Giroro won't find any bugs... but he may encounter one fluffy white feline hunter....]]

The important thing is that he doesn't know we're here to clone-proof your apartment, Bakura-dono.

[He gives the kitten a cursory glance but otherwise ignores her as he goes to check the windows next. He'll need to know where all possible entry points are. He'll leave the talking to Keroro for now.]

[[Ulthar is going to just stalk Giroro intently.]]

He already broke through filtering the post... but I don't think he thinks I can do anything against him... But it was a good precaution anyway, I think.

Then we have the element of surprise on our side, de arimasu. He won't be expecting our traps and even if he is, only a Pekoponian of Hinata Natsumi's calibre would be able to break through, de arimasu.

[He turns to Giroro with a business-like expression on his face.]

Corporal Giroro. Status report.

[He's ignoring Ulthar for now, though if it gets too close he'll nudge the cat away with his foot.

He turns around though and salutes when Keroro asks.]

I haven't found any bugs so it's unlikely that the enemy is listening in on us.

Including the door there are three possible points of entry, but the windows should be easy enough to defend since we're on the third floor.

[[blinks, watching the two of them work, wondering what he should do.

And careful with that foot, Giroro. Ulthar's likely to pounce it.]]

[You can keep giving them information, Bakura! A well-informed defense is the best offense.

Besides, you can just take a page out of Keroro's book. He's not doing anything either (aside from ordering Giroro around).]

Good. Do a quick sweep of the perimeter to ensure the enemy hasn't already infiltrated, de arimasu.

Yes, sir. [Salute! And then he's running off to do just that. Better stay out of his way, cat.]

[[That's not likely at all. In fact, Ulthar has finally decided that she doesn't care for these invaders and is about to pounce when Bakura realizes what's going on]]

Aaa-- Ulthar, don't do that--

[[Pardon him as he scoops down to grab the kitten before she can enact her master plan.

..now if only she'd do that against intruders Bakura hadn't invited....]]

[Keroro watches as Giroro runs off before turning back to Bakura.]

If you can, I'd like for you to cooperate with us as much as possible, Bakura-dono. First we need some information about this evil clone, de arimasu. When did you first notice his existence, de arimasu? And at what time did he start attempting to take over as you, de arimasu?

[He looks everywhere, carefully checking behind every door, inside every cupboard and even under every couch cushion (Giroro, why would anyone be under those...?) before coming over to report.]

There's no sign of the enemy anywhere.

Aaa... [[This was going to get uncomfortable fast]]

I only found out he was here last week... and he always pretends to be me. [[sighs softly]] Even my friends back home can't tell the difference...

But the difference is that he isn't you, de arimasu. [Now Keroro is doing some official-looking pacing, complete with hands clasped behind his back.]

Which is why he wants to become you and then take over your life, de arimasu.

[Don't mind him, he'll just be wandering around, occasionally stopping to tug at something, or knock on the wall.]
