[Soft female voice. If she didn’t sound so amused, it’d be easy to tell she is incredibly pissed due to the current circumstances]
Do tell me, are you actually helping this world and its war? I am sure all of you are dying [she loves to use this word when addressing to humans] to go back to your little homes, however, it’s no where in the contract saying you’ll be returned once the war is over and won. It’s a promise, yes, but promises can be broken so easily, can they not?
Are we supposed to believe them? To trust them? [Demona doesn’t laugh, however she hums]
Hm~ tell me more about your war and the Witches.

How does death solve any of our problems? Mary was the one good thing that happened for us in that entire mess and you couldn't wait even one day to try to come up with another solution? If Mary hadn't been there we all would've been killed, and you know that!
What it brings to me is that for once in my life I've made my own decision instead of following an order that I despise. If I can fix what I did to her--if I can save her than maybe I'll at least feel like I had a life worth living.
[voice] 1/2
Mary has come to us with the knowledge that it would end with you killing her. You heard her when she admitted it. [He takes a deep breath, apparently forcing himself to remain rational.] You weren't the only one who liked her, Chrono. All of us did. And she died the moment when she helped us to defeat that terminal and Pandaemonium invaded her head. It wasn't just for you and neither was it your fault nor your responsibility.
[Another deep breath because the idea that Chrono might have hated being by his side even before hurts him, as much as he hates to admit it. And as always, he rewards a blow with a blow.]
I insisted on making it quick because Pandeamonium had already hijacked her body when you and Shader ran into us that day. She talked to me through her, Chrono. You might enjoy making yourself the victim of this, but I am the one carrying the responsibility for Eden and the lives of all its inhabitants who decided to risk their lives trusting me. Hate me for it if you want, but sacrificing even more of us just because one of us is unhappy but never managed to open his mouth about it until it was way to late has never been an option to me.
Rizelle has lost everything beneath her waist. Gennai lost both his eyes and his arm. Viede was lucky, but those two are never going to heal. Mary-Magdalene sacrificed herself by saving us, letting Pandeamonium infest her mind and body! Yet you are here, yapping at me at how I'm rushing things and never read your mind! You know what Pandaemonium is capable of and how far Mary's powers reach. You know what it can do with them! And yet you selfishly forced her to keep living in that state, dragging her with you from city to city, helping to spread the disease. Does Pandeamonium have to reach the world of humans that we escaped into as well to make you happy? Is that the prize you are willing to pay in order to 'make your own choice' and to atone for a sin nobody but you yourself have ever blamed you for?!
I love you brother, but I can't be on your side about this one. Fear might have rushed my hand, but your decision was selfish and arrogant.

Enough of this, Chrono. We aren't going to agree so we might as well end this discussion here.
The real reason I contacted you is because I was curious if you met the maker of this post before. [Since he had followed a bit of their conversation and had noticed a certain amount of familiarity from his brother's words.]
[voice]
She's one of the guests I saw when I volunteered on the tour.
[voice]
Aion is done provoking him, though. Chrono had went too far baring his fangs against him and had received a backlash for it that he was sure his brother won't forget anytime soon. He has no reason to attack his pride any further.
His tone remains calm and business-like when he continues, but most of the anger in it has vanished. He would never admit it, but there is a part of Aion that wishes that Chrono would more often be like and show him his strong side. He likes the predator way more than the hurt hatchling.]
Is there any reason to assume that she's an enemy?

[voice]
...I just realized this entire conversation is public.
[voice]
Is that so? She asks some interesting questions.
[voice]
Mm. That's one way to put it.
[voice]
How would you call it?
[voice]
[voice]
[And that observation is very interesting.]
She certainly seems to be the careful type. I wonder if I should try and recruit her.
[voice]
[Then he raises an eyebrow.] "Recruit" her?

[voice]
[In a "catch me if you can" tone right back.]

[voice]
[Dodging the detail with the identical weapon forms? Of course not!]

[voice]
[Silly Chrono, you should know better than to assume that he'd willingly order himself into any kind of system again.]

Anyway, thanks for the information.
