7th Turn: Video | July 31th
[The video starts with an evil laugh and gleaming eyes in sinister shadows before Bakura leans forward with a grin that’s full of bared teeth. The evil spirit has spent the last days searching the city near and far for the souls of two certain multi-color-haired midgets just to return with his hands empty. He had went all the way to make sure that it was no fluke and now he had certainty of the result. Malicious killing intend is dancing in both his eyes and his voice, twisting them more away from his nice counterpart than ever as he intones a mocking chant.]
The king is dead, the king is dead, long live the king~! Isn’t that how it’s said? [He laughs derisively before he shakes his head with a haughty tsk.]
All those things, all those times …and now that! Having it end like that feels almost too easy! [His smile drops into a discontent frown that turns his eyes hard before he tsks again and shakes his head as he brushes whatever thought he had aside with a wave of his hand.
The expression he presents the network with again seconds later is that of a winner, amused and cruel. ] No more games, dear Death City, for the main actor’s dead and the rest of the story’s already settled! [He feels betrayed.]
Both the main actor and the secondary cast have been removed. [He'd wanted some more time.]
So I’m going to end the game-! [It should have been personal!!]
The only thing is.. What’s the gamemaster left to do once the game’s won and over? [The frown is back at those last words. For a moment Bakura seems honestly troubled, then he shakes his head again with a mumbled curse and ends the connection. Atem has been much more than just an enemy to him.
No amount of public gloating can replace killing him with his own hands.]

[That's all he has got to say to it. It had been because of someone, or rather because of something. But even back then Zorc Necrophades hadn't been the only one pulling their strings. They had kept dancing and tangling themselves in them until the very end..]

Sorry. I know it's not a good topic for you. I guess even here, I can't stop wanting to figure it all out. Somehow it feels even more important as we all disappear...

Ryou Bakura. Some things are better of left forgotten and buried in the sands of time. This thing is one. [He sighs and stands up, walking past the view of the camera. A short noise and the sudden flooding of light into the room reveal that he must have went to look out of the window.] ...and me and everybody else involved in it too.

Almost hesitantly, he turns video on on his end as well, showing a self who seems worn out and tired, hair almost resembling his doubles with how little care he's taken it the past few days.]]
This thing... I don't know if I can forget.... it feels like I shouldn't. Not until everything's finished...
[[his voice is soft, reinforcing the tired appearance, and there's a small hesitation]]
And I don't want to forget you...
[[he's not even sure why any longer, and he's not sure if he would feel the same way if they hadn't had this time in Death City, however...]]

He guesses he should be touched, but all he feels is a sense of derisive irony.
Walking back, he picks up the mirror and grins.]
How touching. Unfortunately for you it's already too late. The game's over. Everybody who mattered is dead. Go enjoy those limited days you have here because afterward you will forget all about it one way or another.

...and as long as you're still here, it's not truly over... is it?

Much luck trying that! Don't fuck it up like all the other times!
