[As the communicator fires up, a girl can be seen eying it with a fascinated smile on her face. Technology that she's never seen before? SO. AWESOME.]

Heeeelllooo! One two three testing! [She taps the screen a couple times.] This thing on?

[Not waiting for a reply, Pascal instantly speaks up.]

So, how's it hanging, Death City? Man, that's such a cool name for a city. It's like you expect it to be full of creepy-crawly zombies and then bam! you see all these living things walking around instead! Totally unexpected. And then you got that whole Meister/Weapon shindig. Oh oh all you Weapons out there gotta let me touch you! And all you Meisters, too! [A thoughtful expression crosses her face.] Wait, hold up. I can touch myself for that. [That gets shaken off quickly enough and she sends a cheerful wink at the device. It's not like she's been a Meister forever so touching other ones couldn't hurt.] Ah who cares! I'll touch every last one of you so no worries about getting left out of the love! So come one, come all and start lining u--

[A huge blob of clear liquid suddenly drips down on her head. She blinks, clearly confused by the slime making its way down her face, and looks up. Her expression slowly shifts from one of confusion to that of excitement.]

OH. MY. GOSH. GUYS GUYS GUYS! The sun just slobbered all over me! This is so neat! It's really happy-looking, too! My sun back home is so blah I'm a big flaming ball of gases and junk, but this one is more YAHOOO HOWDY GUYS! GONNA HEAT YOU ALL UP NICE N' TOASTY. Okay, this is officially the best town ever in my book. Ah, war and witches and that downer stuff aside.

[Instead of dwelling on all that depressing stuff, Pascal turns her attention back at the sun and waves at it.] Yooooo hoooo Mr. Suuuuuun! You mind sharing some more of that goopy goop with the class? Come on, pretty please with a cherry on top? I'll love ya forever if you do! [That wish gets granted soon enough and Pascal couldn't look more ecstatic about being covered with even more drool.] Thanks a bunch! You're one majorly cool fireball!

[She looks back at screen, some of the drool dripping right onto it.] Sooo there a lab or something 'round here I could borrow till I stock up on my own equipment? Got some awesome drool samples to analyze and time's a wasting!
