[Londo is a quarter of the way up the thousand steps and glaring hard enough to kill.]
Ridiculous.
[He's pretty close to out of breath.]
Entirely ridiculous! Ludicrous! I have had enough! I would hope, by now, that many would be with me, hm? This many stairs? No lift?
I propose a petition. They add lifts to places with stairs. The buildings, some of them have lifts, but this is what needs it! Here! We need a lift, here, and we need it, as the humans say, yesterday.
Who agrees? Who is, so to speak, with me?
[He turns and starts to head back down, shutting off the feed on the way.]

[Laziness. That's his native language.]

It really shouldn't be hard for them to make a lift or something like that. They already throw money around to make sure we all have places to sleep and things to eat. [Seems like it anyway.]
[He nods.] Yes, yes, but they should not take away from that, hm? The food and the bed, those I enjoy. They should simply find room in their budget for a lift as well, yes?
Or I could call you Emperor Londo-sama. [Seems a little redundant that way, but whatever. Nobility was weird.]
Ah, yeah, I'm sure they could. Like I said, they throw money around like it's as plentiful as the sand in the desert. [He waves a hand lazily.] There's gotta be enough for even something simple.
There must. And there are people who can build, no? This, it would be a good thing to make. In my world there are only a few bothersome staircases. Lifts, they are everywhere.
Yeah, we even have those where I live. Not many, but there aren't enough buildings tall enough to need a lot. Shibusen could definitely use one, though.
.... Actually, why haven't we gotten one before now? [Seriously, had no one suggested it? Weird.]
[Londo shrugs again.]
Perhaps they did not realize it was useful. Perhaps they are all insane and enjoy stairs. Why ask why? It does not change anything, hm?
I... guess? [Obito had met adults who believe it was best if children just stayed quiet and didn't ask questions, but it had been a long time since Obito had been told something like that. It was... weird.] Just curious is all. Maybe you should take it up with shinigami-san? His father was probably the one to design it or something.
Re: [video]
[Londo wasn't telling him to hush, but he was saying he didn't know the why and didn't bother asking why.] Oh yes. The boy who thinks he is a god. Very strange, that one, no?
Well, who's to say he isn't one? [Obito crosses his arms behind his head.] It's not like there are gods where I'm from, but this isn't even my world. I mean, there's no chakra anywhere, and who would have thought that it was even possible to survive without chakra?
He does not have power. All he has is his small form. That, it is not what a god should be, hm? They should be doing, not watching a small cube and trying to not take blame for what has happened here.
Hmm... Well, like I said, I don't really believe there are gods where I'm from. If he says he's a god here, then who am I to say otherwise? [And obviously he doesn't care.]
Maybe you should ask him yourself? Maybe he has more god-like powers that he doesn't show off for some reason? But give him some slack. He's just a kid.
But I have asked him about himself. And gods, it should not matter if they are kids or adults, no. They are gods. Slack, it should not be given.
So what are gods where you're from? In my world, some people believe gods are sort of like spirits. Similar to demons, I guess? But more helpful? [He's not sure. Some gods are just as bad as demons.] There's not proof they even exist, so I don't have any reason to think they're even real.
Gods are gods. There, I have been just as unhelpful as you, hm? Gods are beings with powers, who influence our world, and who can make things better or worse based on their whims. They most definitely exist.
[Obito waves a hand lazily.] That's your opinion. Until I see one that fits that description back at my home, I have no need to believe in them, whether they really exist or not. And if they work based on whims, then what's the point in caring about them anyway? They obviously don't care about us. Which is at least something we can say about Shinigami-san. [That kid does care, even if it's technically his fault they were here and in danger in the first place.]
Re: [video]
Maybe they do. If you happen to find one that matches your kind of god, then feel free to show him to me. I'd like to see one someday. [Good luck with that, Londo.]
Well, if ever there was a way for you to prove their existence, make sure to let everyone know. I won't be the only one interested.
