Program 01 | Video | 06-25

[Chihiro's face looks vaguely enamored when it appears on the screen. It's obvious that someone here has been very pleased with the technology they were being allowed to deal with in Death City. Eyes flicking to the camera, Chihiro offers a nervous smile.]

H-hello, Death City. Um... my name is Chihiro Fujisaki, and I was just... Well, I guess I just wanted to introduce myself.

[It's obvious that Chihiro is feeling quite awkward about giving an introduction, but that quickly fades and is replaced by eagerness as the next words tumble out.]

Ah, but! Is there... anywhere I could get a job in technology? I am a... very competent programmer and I'd like to help out in any way I can! So if... if someone could help me out, I would appreciate it.

[After another quick smile, Chihiro ends the feed, only mildly confident that there will be any responses to this video at all.]

I haven't been here terribly long, so I could be wrong, but I don't think there are any jobs that deal with technology. Programming especially.

Out of curiosity, what kind of things do you program?
peacocked: (just a little shocked)

[he offers her (....if only he knew. sobbing...) a sympathetic smile.] I'm sure you'll be able to find something that suits your field.

[his eyes widen a little as he looks down at the mirror.] Artificial.... like those robotic humans you see in anime, or smaller things like boxes?
peacocked: (is that so?)

Oh, I see. So you could get it to take notes for you, look things up on the internet and things like that?
peacocked: (running in circles)

Oh? That sounds pretty remarkable. I wish I could see it.

Do you think you'll be able to find the right materials here? [not that he'd be able to tell because lol islander...]
peacocked: (ehehehe;;)

I've seen some here and there, but I don't know if they're... capable of doing the things you need to get done? But I'm not a tech expert, so I don't know. [the ones he has seen are kind of.... let's just say the computers back on his island back home move faster than the ones he's seen.]
peacocked: (is that so?)

Oh? That's good to hear. I look forward to seeing your progress on making a new AI.
peacocked: (live on Suza-- oh wait wrong person)

[all the excite!]

Thank you, ah-- I'm sorry in my haste to inform you I forgot my manners. I'm Sugata Shindou.
peacocked: (eyes only for her)

It's nice to meet you too Chihiro. [a pause.] Have you figured out what you are yet?
peacocked: (there's no release)

[personal profile] peacocked 2013-09-17 07:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh? I hope you did not find out through the stair method.
peacocked: (so... you swam here huh?)

[he gives a quiet sigh of relief.] Well that's good. What kind of weapon are you?
peacocked: (the fuck did I walk in on?)

(video)

[personal profile] peacocked 2013-09-18 06:37 pm (UTC)(link)
[his brows raise a little.] Well that's kind of fitting... You're a programmer in real life and here you're weapon form is a PDA. Sometimes I wonder if our weapon forms were intentionally thought out like that.
peacocked: (okaaaayyy?)

Maybe? I know I was turned into a pocket knife I used to carry around back home. So maybe it's possible for it to latch onto something we're familiar with.
