[sometime during the late afternoon, another feed pops up on the network; this time Maka is on the air, with Soul tagging on right beside her, although it seems as if she's the one holding the device as they trek down Shibusen's impressively long staircase]

Hey, everyone-- Maka here, along with Soul- [she nods a little in his direction] -and we just got back from a mission we were sent on, which is why we had been absent for a while. Which-- I apologize on, especially after we heard what happened the past few days...

[Soul, in the meantime, is walking along in his usual fashion: hands in his pockets, jaw slack, wearing boredom the way he wears his clothes. He glances at his partner once, then looks back at the camera.]

Everyone all right? [A beat.] You better be.

[in response, Maka simply gives him one of those looks (that sort of frankness wasn't needed right now!), turning the camera a little more away from him]

-- What he means to say is, we hope everyone's all right, or at least is going to be. So if anyone ever needs anything or just wants to let us know what's up, give me a call, okay?

[Aww, c’mon, Maka, they don’t have to babysit, do they? -A-

Still, he’s breathing a sigh out of his mouth.]

Yeah, what she said. [Siiiigh.] And if anyone cares, we’re fine. [Obviously, his look seems to say. Since he’s a Deathscythe, aww yis.]

Would both of you be willing to help the guests with some advanced defensive training from time to time? There has been concern among the guests about defending against future witch attacks and it would be good for them to at least know what to do in case they encounter one.

Yeah. It seems like we'll have to. It's the least we can do for those who are willing to fight.
