Hi, everyone. It was feeling kind of lonely before Pascal showed up... but, I brought some company to my apartment awhile back.
[ Then she holds up a scruffy-looking brown hamster for all to see. Cute, huh? Most of the money she earned from her job went to this hamster and potted flowers to pretty up her room. Some company meaning a hamster, as well as all the flowers. The plants are family too! ]
His name is Tiger Festival... he's a hamster and my new baby. Hee hee. We're family now.
[ She smiles proudly before setting the fluffy critter back down on her lap. ]
When the war here is over and things calm down back home, I'll have a family there too. I'm going to have a father and I'll get to call him "dad"!
I was born without parents, so I never had someone to call "dad" before. It's... happy to have someone to call "dad." Do any of you have fathers... or mothers, too? I was wondering... what kinds of things do families do together?
