[Slamming his communication mirror down switches it on, and he stares at the screen for a while.

It might not have been intentional, but as long as it's on and recording--]

Didn't think the stupid ramen shops would stop givin' me any ramen so fast.

[His voice drops, whiny and obviously attempting a terrible impression]

"Sorry kid you're gonna eat us outta stock."

[Thunk. That'll be the sound of his head slamming against the counter... followed slowly by the gradual boil of a kettle somewhere nearby.

His hand slams down on top of the device a moment later, thereby turning it off.]

[ So Naruto's been temporarily turned down by the ramen shops in the area? Just how many were there and did they all do this? ]

Guess that means you're going to have to eat something else in the meantime. [ And save money by cooking for himself! ]

[He has, he has. It's a terrible time Sakura-chan, SIMPLY AWFUL.]

[Lifting his head he picks up the device again, staring at it before turning it around. There-- on the counter beside him. A ramen cup. Full, to the line with water.]

It's okay Sakura-chan. I've got it.

[Only, his tone-- incredibly flat and incredibly put out.]

[Sad day. Obito didn't realize anyone could consume enough ramen to make the shop owners kick you out, but then again, he hasn't been an unpaying customer.]

I haven't eaten ramen in a while...

[It's not a good memory. The last time he did was with Itachi and, after hearing about all the things he did...

Well, Obito was trying to get over things. Time to make some less bitter memories, right?]

If you wanna go sometime, I don't mind spotting you for dinner once.

So all she can do is try to extinguish the flames before they get out of control. ]

...Obito works at the pizza place. So he serves pizza there regularly. Maybe he can give you some at a discount. Tell him Gai will pay him back for it.
