[Video] Backdated to June 13th

[John's never really made an entry to the network before even though he's been here for awhile, but better late than never, right? He's sitting on the floor, his rabbit hopping around and exploring in front of him.]

Hi, guys! [He waves with a smile.] I just wanted to say sorry to anyone who was worried about me and to say thanks for helping Karkat not to kill my rabbit while I was away. I went home for a year but I'm back now! It's kind of weird having a full year go by back home when it was only one day here... I got to meet a lot of people I've meet here though so that was fun! I got to see all my friends again too, but only for a little moment before I was brought back. That kind of sucked but oh well. I'm sure I'll see them again.

What did I miss? I heard something about people going missing on missions...?

[When John returned home, he couldn't resist passing up the opportunity to play a prank on Karkat and Dave. He was really glad to know he'd get to see them again here, especially after only getting to have a glimpse of them back home before he was brought back to Death City.

He'd already gotten Dave and caught up with him a bit. Now it was Karkat's turn. He hides out of sight of the door, waiting for it to open. When it does, the door knob will hit an air horn taped to the wall and let out a very loud noise.]

_{[Karkat's out getting groceries, and he's got his arms full of various food items. He hates shopping, because it takes too long, and it's dull, and it means spending money, but hey, it's his turn, and he figures with John gone, Dave will appreciate the fact that he's brought some food into the house. He even got some extra apple juice, just in case it turns out to be a while until John returns and Dave needs some apple juice to keep from missing John too much.

He can barely open the door with his hands full. He has to juggle everything, and he's cursing softly under his breath when he finally gets the door open. He kind of opens it a little hard, just for good measure. When the air horn sounds, he jumps really high, and makes a noise that's in between a scream and a shout. There are now various grocery items all along the entry way. Once he gets over his shock though, he realizes there's only one idiot prankster capable of something like this in Death City.]} John! I just fucking bought this shit!

Y-You're back, de arimasu!

Welcome back, John. Karkat will surely be pleased to see you have returned.

[ A pause... ] An entire year, hm?

Well, I am glad to see that you are alright. There were quite a number of people worried about you. [Karkat especially, eheheh]

[John can't help but bust out laughing at that scream/shout. He knew Karkat could yell, but he didn't know he could make a sound like that. It was hilarious.

He peeks up from where he's hiding behind the couch, holding onto it as he tries to breath from how hard he's laughing.]

Hey, Keroro! I am!

Kanaya! I got to see you back home! It was only for a moment but now I know for sure it was you.

Mhm. A whole entire year.

Sorry about that.

I'm so glad, de arimasu! I was worried, de arimasu!

[That he wouldn't be back in time for the party. Okay, and he was kind of worried about John too.]

[ Blink. Blink blink. ]

Why only for a moment, if you know? Was it in the final moment of the year?

Everyone from the meteor suddenly just appeared and landed in a pile in front of me, then a moment later, I was brought back here.

[ That sounds like the doing of a space player... Jade? ]

So it was in the final moment. ...and you did not have the chance to speak with anyone.

Nope. But I'm still happy about it. We're finally all in the same place now! No more traveling on a stupid boat anymore.

Neither a boat, nor a meteor. [ A nod. ] I will look forward to that. Upon my return, I have more traveling to do before I arrive there.

I wish you could remember this place when you go back home. It might have helped with missing everyone so much. ... Or maybe it would have made it worse.

[ A shake of her head. ] We were preparing for our imminent arrival, though I do not know how much time rests before I am to meet you and the others. There is likely a journey from the meteor itself to where we find you; or to the event that makes us appear before you.

No need to apologize. It was not something you could have controlled, after all. Just the whims of BREW--I do wonder why it would send someone away, just to bring them back so shortly after. [Well. By Death City's time, anyway]

the last thing that happened back home was everyone popping out of thin air and dropping to the ground in front of me.
