Oi.

Most of you already know about it, but there’s a daily morning training where some people are working so that they can help you figure out how to transform or what your Meister ability is. I’m one of them and as such I have an important message for you. I’m only going to say it once, so wash your ears and listen.

The next smiling idiot who shows up unprepared and expects us to just do all the work for them will be drowned. Don’t waste our time when you can’t even use your poor excuse of a brain to try and think about the solution of your own problems!

Deceits is a good fighting technique to know too, don't you know that? There's only so much you can do with brute strength alone.

Agh. I'd rather just get by on strength. I'm not interested in lying to people just to gain some underhanded advantage. [That's more Rizelle's or Aion's (sort of) area, anyway. He's always been much more of a brute-force attacker.]

Then it's a good thing I'm strong, isn't it.

Yeah. But what about those who aren't or where pure strength won't help? Are you going to tell them 'deal with it and sorry, you're just too weak'? That's a cruel way of thinking.

[He opens his mouth to say something...but then he remembers Rizelle's injuries. Even if she wanted to now, is there really anything she can do besides use her powers to fight? And even before, it wasn't her fault that the powers she'd been given were more suited to manipulating others than direct fighting...]

...I guess it might be.

Of course that means that you're also always up to direct confrontations that will end up with somebody hurt or something destroyed.

Aww, that sounds as if I managed to touch a sore spot there, huh? What did you do, blow something up or accidentally stab out somebody's eye out? You can tell my, my sister once managed to burn down the house she was supposed to exorcise with her temper and ridiculous gorilla strength.

[For a moment, Chrono doesn't look...right. His eyes are glaring at the communicator, but he doesn't seem to be looking at anything in particular. Then he grabs the mirror roughly, like he's about to throw it.]

[He seems to have changed his mind, though, because he tosses the mirror back onto his desk. His eyes are more focused now but he still looks pretty pissed. He mashes a few buttons and they make some beeping noises before he finally finds the one he wants--the 'OFF' key.]

[He ends the feat. The moment the camera is turned off his sadistic smirk vanishes as well, turning into a thoughtful glare. That reaction had been interesting. Somebody powerful who believed in force to solve problems but had already hurt somebody dear to him badly through that.
