[Shibusen can be seen in the background. Hughes is about halfway up the steps.]
So...can someone explain to me why this place needs to be so high up? I mean...is it supposed to keep people from getting up to Shibusen or something? Isn't it a bit inefficient for it to be so far up for the people that work or go to class here though?
[He turns and continues walking.]
But the view is nice. I suppose that's a bit of a reward... I might be biased though since I like watching the sun rise. It really is nice though. [He shifts the communicator to show what he is talking about.] See?
[The camera turns back and faces Hughes, but he is looking up the steps and focused on climbing. He pauses a bit before he continues speaking.]
...a couple years back—well, before I came here—my daughter was still a wee little thing. Sometimes she would wake up crying, a little before the sun came up, and I'd take her outside so my wife could sleep. I'd walk around the yard for a bit while rocking her, and she'd eventually drift off again. Surprisingly, I never got complaints from the neighbors, hehe. But then I'd sit out at the end of the walkway and watch the sun rise. It was calming.
[After another pause, he glances down at the communicator and chuckles.] I guess most of you probably can't relate to that, hahaha. Sorry, I'm just an old fart, heh. The sun here has a face anyway, so that's a bit different. [He looks back up again.] I'm just really bored though. It's early, and there isn't really anyone around, and there are a helluva lot of steps. I'm sure you can let slide something like that right? At least I'm not posting a billion messages this time...hehehe.
[There is another pause before he stops and glances at the communicator again.]
Okay, I'm out of stuff to say, hahaha. I'll leave you guys alone.

Oh, yeah. I'm still going to race you up this thing, so you better get ready, hehehe.

Nah, I'm fine, hahaha! I'm mostly just worried for others that might have problems with it. Thank you, though! I'm honored that you would offer your help like that!
oops I just realized it's supposed to be video on his end. PERMAVID! 1/2

np! Yeah, Hughes has a tendency to reply with audio since he's more used to that.
Hahaha! Are you sure? I mean, even if I got it, it doesn't mean it has to be for a wedding. It could just be for a random party with delicious cake!
haha silly Hughes! How will Black*Star ever recognize his face!
He uses video for all the posts but switches to audio for replies haha
What exactly does a sword have to do with anything?
o7 Gotcha!
Oh, and perma-aud pff

That's a lot of ways. Well, if he's really like that, then I understand why you would dislike him so much then, hehehe. Maybe he's just lonely though?
no subject
If loneliness was the problem, don'tcha think he'd be less annoying in order to keep people around?
no subject
Not necessarily. Some people don't know how to act properly around others since they never really learned it. As a result, they only know how to act one certain way and might not understand that what they're actually doing is improper.
