17. Feb 22nd | Video

[spandexisyouth]

[The mirror is at a weird angle, showing the ceiling at first, until it's tilted down to show a whole lot of little shapes. Then he's adjusting the view, zooming in, to show... a dozen Neji keychains, all scowling and with arms crossed. Behind them is a pair of Karkats, one Kakashi, and an Aqua. There are other figures farther back, but Gai is clearly focused on the Nejis. A little turtle crawls onto the screen and Gai carefully balances a Neji on the turtle's back.

Gai's voice can be heard narrating.]

And so the fearsome and furious army of Nejis traveled the land, taking down everything in their path by the might of their scowls! It was unmatched by any except Karkat!

[A small Karkat is moved to beside the turtle. Then he shifts the communicator back to his grin.]

See, Neji! I told you that they were needed and useful! I HAVE AN ARMY OF NEJIS! Everything mini will cower in their path! I will carry my dozen Nejis everywhere! They will bring me great joy and entertainment!

[There's a beat as he looks back down at them.]

...I may need more Nejis.

They are! And of course! I have a duplicate of this one, who has not told me her name yet. [He holds up Riza and then is looking through his others.] Do you have Karkat yet? I would like to keep my second Karkat if you do. He works well with my Nejis. But I also have a couple of Auron!

Oh, I can trade you my Nejis with Auron! [she rummages through her key-chains] And I don't have Karkat yet, no. I'm going to buy some more soon, maybe I'll get one.

Let me know if you get Karkat! If not then I will trade my extra of him. Where shall we meet for the exchange?

The park? I'm at the animal shelter right now, so it'd be nice to bring some of the dogs for a walk.

[He's at the park a few minutes later, bringing two of his Nejis (for his own amusement) and his duplicate Auron.]

[Gai spots her, coming over to join her.]

You are looking well today! And the dogs do also.

[Stripp has four dogs with her, and waves the moment she sees Gai] Thanks Gai, so do you!

[She comes closer, mostly because the dogs really want some petting]

[Gai kneels to pet the first dog that runs up to him, an enthusiastic little guy.]

Do you walk dogs often? I sometimes walk Kakashi's two, though most of the time he walks them himself.

From time to time. They are at the shelter all the time, so I think it's nice to take them for walks.

[she grabs one to pet it. yes, she really loves animals]

I am certain they appreciate it.

[It's a good thing Kakashi's not here. They'd wind up going home with lots of dogs.]

I brought Auron!

[Gai retrieves the keychain from his pocket and holds it out.] He does not look as grumpy as Neji.

[erostripperella]

Ah great! [she puts the dog down, and reaches for her purse to grab the Neji keychain, handing to to Gai. With her hand, she takes the Auron one]

Ahah, he really doesn't. Karkat looks a lot grumpier, though!

[spandexisyouth]

[Gai happily adds the Neji to his others, linking them together.]

At the right angle! I think that Neji and Karkat could team up to bring the power of grump to the entire city, but that would be a bad thing so I hope they never do! It is far better to be happy!

[erostripperella]

[and she puts Auron close to the others]

Yes, it is. I don't think they'd like it if everyone were grumpy, either.

[spandexisyouth]

We have a good mix of Zone Leaders, then! Some who are enthusiastic, some who are grumpy!

[erostripperella]

It's good to keep balance!

[spandexisyouth]

I agree! It leads to health and well-being! And also it means that not all of my keychains are scowling at me!

[erostripperella]

Though considering the amounts of Nejis you have, there are still a lot of scowling going on, Gai.

[spandexisyouth]

True! Perhaps I need one of me after all!

[erostripperella]

[she laughs] Yes, i think you do! I already have one of yours. [she searches for the keychain and shows it to Gai]

[spandexisyouth]

I had two. But I gave one to my Rival at his request, and then one to Lee at his, so I am out of me. I shall have to get another, then! And maybe complete my set!

[erostripperella]

I heard if you complete the set, you get an extra keychain!

[spandexisyouth]

I was told that as well! The stickers get turned in for it!
