The dates are starting to line up again, so me may end up having newcomers from BREW in the near future. Might be a good idea to watch out for that.

...Of course, it also means that there may be even more disappearances than the ones we've had over the past few days. Those two usually go hand in hand.

[Now it's back to business.]

I've talked with Shibusen and a few of you about this already, so I think it's time to bring the idea up to everyone.

Recent events have made our numbers dwindle lower than they have in a while, and I'm not comfortable with constantly waiting for BREW to bring in people who could be interested in joining us, or on the folks who are already here to come around quickly. As such, in order to focus the resources that we have at hand and make sure that everyone isn't overworked, I'm planning on ceasing all Watch activity in Outer Residential Quarter III, and Zones 1 and 4 in the Outer Quarter of Death City.

I am aware, of course, that a number of you will be affected by this move. As such, I want to hear how you feel about this, where you'd like to be transferred, and who you're more comfortable working under among our current set of Zone Leaders. You're free, of course, to approach me in my office or send a message to me in private with your responses.

Anyone who's violently opposed to this move is more than welcome to talk to me about it. Know, though, that it's not an idea that sits very well with me either. Still: the last thing I want is that we're unprepared for another attack on the city, or for whatever else might happen to us from here on. Hard decisions need to be made if we're truly going to do everything that we can to protect this place, and each other.

I think a lot of you have seen the headlines already. For those of you who haven't... well, I suggest that you look now.

Until this business is resolved, please avoid traveling alone after sundown. It would also be good to let people that you know where you're going or when you've arrived safely at your destination every time you go out. If you see any suspicious activity or anything that you think might be suspicious, inform me or any member of DOGS and the Watch. Rest assured, we'll get to the bottom of this.

CIC: take charge of digging up as much information on this incident as possible. Can I get a role call on who's running their particular patrol route solo? Might be best if we avoid that for a bit.

On another note, Death the Kid has informed me that there will be a BREW viewing on February 18, between two and four in the afternoon. I need a small team to join Hawkeye and I as part of the security detail. Looking for people who do not have extra duties outside of patrolling.

One last thing: when are all of you available for a general meeting? Don't worry about your patrol shifts - Death the Kid and I will make arrangements. I need to speak to all of you abuot future plans.

Good morning. I hope that things have gotten better for everyone, now that the weather's cleared up. [Among other things.] I'll need to trouble the lot of you with three announcements.

First: Death City's Office for General Security is currently looking for guests who, in their respective worlds, were researchers, scientists, or generally involved in the process of knowledge production. Anyone who's interested can contact me now. I'll answer any questions you might have.

Second: the Watch has suffered from a few losses, BREW-related and otherwise. Any able-bodied guest with fighting experience who's looking to do something for this city and the other guests is welcome to apply.

[And now there's a bit of a pause. When he does speak again, though, his tone remains carefully neutral.]

...Third. Given how things went down here, I don't think a lot of you are aware of this, but Ryotaro Dojima, my former Weapon, was killed during one of the recent attacks on the city. He has been buried already, but Jules and I will be at the cemetery on the 10th just to say goodbye properly. Anyone who knew Dojima is welcome to drop by and pay their respects.
