[Another new arrival in Death City. Say hi to this guy, who’s looking into the communicator suspiciously. If you squint, there’s a small scar above his left eye, but most noticeably, he’s only wearing an unbuttoned purple tropical shirt-jacket-thing on his upper half, which is covered in bandages that partially obscure some sort of blue stamp on his right side of his chest.]
…So. Uh, I guess this thing works kind of like a communication lacrima then, from what they said. Why the hell’s it a mirror though? Is this even on?
Oh, right. I’m Gray Fullbuster, a mage from the Fairy Tail guild in Fiore. It’s in Earthland, but that probably doesn’t mean much here. Nice to meet you guys. I think. I guess I'm helping out with this war thing, like everyone else. There’s gotta be a better way of asking though, seriously. It’s not cool to just drag people in like this.
[While Gray has been talking, it might be prudent to tell him that his shirt has disappeared, as he is apparently completely unaware of that fact. What? You didn’t see it happen? How strange.]
And what kind of name is Death City? Is this supposed to be some sort of afterlife? Wouldn’t surprise me, but man, what a depressing name.

Across the hall and one to the left, huh? Gray wastes no time and dramatically kicks the door down.]

[ Nevermind that he already punched a hole directly to Lucy's room a while ago and probably broke several things before Gray even showed up.
And even now, there's a chair sailing directly at Gray's head before Natsu appears in the entryway. And if Gray dodges, that chair is probably going right into the wall to crack the plaster. ]

Don't talk to me about destroying stuff when you're always the one starting these fights!
[Tossing off his shirt again, Gray goes right in and throws a punch in Natsu's direction.]

You're the one that started it by showin' your face here! Don'tcha know how long we were waitin' around??
[ He barely avoids the punch, bringing his arm up at the last second to block -- the force of it causing him to skid back. ]

You practically handed me an invitation to punch your face in! And excuse me for thinking everyone was dead!
[He backs away a little now, rubbing his fist, and suddenly feels more tired than usual. Fighting at Tenrou Island and then apparently getting blown up by giant dragon tends to do that to you. Although that's definitely not going to stop Gray from retaliating if Natsu decides to attack too.]
Wait, you said 'we'. Who else is here?!

Hah? Why would we be dead? We were just takin' the S-class exam.
[ He drops his defensive stance, rolling his shoulder idly. ]
It's me, Lucy, and Erza here. And in case ya didn't figure it out yet, this place is just like Edolas -- except there ain't really a way to get our powers back.

[Gray starts looking for his shirt. Where did it go? He didn't throw it that far, did he? Did it go through that hole in the wall?]
They said some crap like that on the intro tour. Just us, huh? No Happy?

But I guess time moves differently for some people. Erza'd know what you were talkin' about. She mentioned Grimoire Heart. [ There's a momentary pause. ] And something about a dragon.
[ Natsu's fist closes at his side. It's the longest he's been away from Happy, so it bothers him a little but he'll be damned if he lets that show! Have to be manly in front of Gray!! ]
Don't worry. Happy ain't gonna let us down. I'm sure BREW's just waitin' for the right chance to bring him in.

I dunno if I want that BREW thing bringing anyone else we know here. What are they gonna think back at the guild if people are just disappearing like this?

I don't think they'd think anything. I mean, I was there with you guys for the whole Grimoire Heart thing, but I didn't live through it yet.
[ He scratches his head in frustration. ]
I don't really get it, but from what other people said -- it's kinda like Edolas when we got back and no one remembered being gone. I don't think they'd even notice we were missin'. Lucy's been here for months, but to us? We didn't even know she was gone.
[ Shaking his head to dismiss the confusing topic he's too dumb to explain, he folds his arms across his chest, eyeing Gray. ]
Anyway -- you a meister or a weapon?

...I'm just gonna say this place screws things up and be done with it. If we're already here, no use complaining, and if nothing bad's happening back home, that's fine.
[And now he rubs the back of his head, still looking around for his shirt.]
They told me I'm a Weapon. Can you believe it? People actually turning into things like that.

[ Seethe. Seethe. Even if people claim Natsu's better as a meister, it still doesn't stop him from thinking that turning into a weapon is the coolest thing ever. Gray doesn't deserve it!! ....even if he is an ice mage and cool is what he does. ]
