[The voice echoed throughout the communicator as his near-featureless face appeared on the screen. His eyes were glowing softly in the darkness as he peered at his communicator, and to those that knew him, it would appear as though Tassadar was contemplating something.]

The emitter has been destroyed, however, the threat still hangs over not only all those within this city, but beyond the safety of the city's walls as well. And yet despite this, each victory we achieve together is one that gains us ground in this war so then we can strive forward towards winning it.

We have all sacrificed much, both from leaving our worlds and the dire situations within them and even here in this world, but do not allow such sacrifices to weigh a heavy burden on your shoulders.

Let our actions speak for us in this war as we stop reacting to our enemies, and show them that we do not fear them.

[While he had never feared an enemy before, still to this day he hadn't, Tassadar had been weighed down by the burdens he'd placed on his shoulders here in this world. After the last battle, however, he finally felt free of the shackles binding him to place.]

Yeah, haven't run into any of those kishin egg creeps until the mission yesterday. Didn't mean to either, since I'm not teamed up with anyone.

They are a creature that has an unquenchable thirst for violence, and they cannot be defeated without the combined power of a Meister and a Weapon fighting together.

I kinda got that idea. Those bastards could take a hit. Guess it was a good thing we could resonate for a bit.

[Even if the resonance didn't really feel like the best, but at least they hadn't outright rejected each other or anything.]

[Someone saying his full name makes him feel like he's in trouble, but Gray opts to not comment on it again. Maybe it's a habit? If that's the case, he's definitely in no place to judge.]

Same here. I gotta get back home with everyone no matter what.

[It is unfortunately a protoss thing. To them, it feels as though you're dishonouring the other if you do not address them fully.]

This is why I fight, and will continue to do so.

Was your world at war before your arrival here?

Uh, sort of. It didn't really involve the whole world though.

We'd just finished fighting off a dark guild that was attacking ours. Then a dragon showed up and was trying to kill us. That's when I got dragged into this place.

I see. So you were pulled from a moment important to your survival, and the survival of your guild?

Pretty much. This place's got horrible timing, seriously. But looks like there's nothing to do about it until we win the war or whatever.

You need to fear not, for the world we are pulled from does not lose time while we are here.

Yeah, heard about that when one of my friends got sent home and came back, so that's a relief.
