[When the screen flickers on, there is a tilted view of the ceiling and part of a window. Suddenly, after an exclamation off-screen, the device seems to have been dropped, because the view tilts wildly until it lands facing the floor.]

No way, no way, no way! [The British voice can be heard, a level of excitement creeping into it.] Wow, I didn’t think something like this could… wow! [The view tilts again, shaking until it brings a young man’s face into focus.]

This is really so cool! And everyone can see it, right? That's how it ... works, right?

[He seems to start pressing buttons at this point, accidentally turning the stream off suddenly in the middle of an exclamation of excitement.]

[Joseph looks pleased with himself this time. He's really starting to get the hang of this thing.]

Great! Oh, your hair's very pink... nice. [...that's actually a legitimate compliment apparently, okay Joseph.]

[ It's a jest, so she adds a light laugh at the end of it. ] My hair, that is. It's pretty bright.

How'd you even get it like that? [Not that he'd want to do anything to make his hair pink, but the thought of someone doing that is SO COOL to him.]

I'm Joseph, by the way. Joseph Joestar. But you can call me JoJo. [It seems appropriate to introduce himself to a pretty girl, after all!]

I was born with it this color.

[ It doesn't seem a common color from what she's seen here (only one other person to her memory), so she explains it. ]

I might need to be shown around. This place is ... as crazy as New York City! [Mostly because it's so UNFAMILIAR, but whatever.]

Huh, New York City? I don't think I've heard of that place before. Is that where you're from?

Well, I haven't heard of Konoha either. So I guess we're even there, huh? [Maybe it is an Asian place. Huh. Whatever.]

I guess I'm from New York! [He laughs.] I'm really from England, but I've lived in New York for a little while now...

[ She's never heard of that place either. ] There's so many different worlds out there... Was New York enjoyable? What about England?

[Wow, okay, this girl really hasn't been around at all, has she? Joseph is pretty convinced that she's just from a little town in the middle of nowhere in Asia. Oops.]

Yeah, New York was pretty great. England was kind of boring, but it wasn't so bad. [Chin-hands] What about where you're from. Kona...uh... whatever. Was it nice? [Aw yeah, small talk. He can totally do that]

[ That's sort of true. Except there are a bunch of NINJAS. ]

Oh, do you really want to hear about it? Konoha, that is.

[He might think ninjas are pretty cool, not gonna lie.]

Yeah, sure, if you wanna talk about it! [He doesn't mind listening a bit, mostly 'cause she's likely to help him out figuring out where things are around here, yeah? Yeah.]

Well, it's a hidden village full of shinobi.

[ She usually says this to get rid of the initial shock. Time to see if it works. ]

Ninjas. [ Holding up a finger excitedly. ] Like myself.

I miss it a lot, but this place is growing on me.

Whoa, whoa! You come from a village of ninjas?? [That's... wow. Just wow.]

[ No point in being subtle about it anymore. ]

That's right. A hidden village. Not so much now that I'm here blabbing on about it, but it's real.

...wait, are ... you a ninja? [No, Joseph, she just lives in a village of ninjas because ninjas are cool... oh my God.]

[ Hey, what woman wouldn't hang out with a bunch of cool ninjas? ]

It'd be kinda weird if I wasn't, huh? Especially after everything I've told you, hah!

So can you disappear and kill people secretly? [That is, in fact, everything that ninjas do. Okay.]

That takes a lot of hard work and I don't exactly kill people secretly. I could if I needed to however.

[ So he better watch out. A ninja knows his face now! ]

[Cue an admiring look.]

That's pretty amazing. [Smirk.] Then again, it doesn't need to be secret to be effective.
