[ The chatter of people all around comes through first, Re-l’s pale face focused and frowning as she shifts through crowds, occasionally murmuring an ‘excuse me’ and at others just shoving her way through. She waits until she’s in a break in the crowd, a quiet spot in the street, before sighing, finally facing her communicator.

She doesn’t seem sure of how to word what she’s thinking, pausing for a moment. ]

I can’t find Vincent. He was supposed to be patrolling Outer Residential Quarter one during the riots and I haven’t been able to contact or find him since… [ Almost paranoid that he’d appear out of no where now she looks up again, watching the people go by, shoulders sagging as she comes up empty again. ]

If anyone sees him, I would appreciate it if someone would let him know I’m looking for him –

[ Her head jerks up, for a moment, catching a flash of orange jumpsuit, communicator forgotten in a flash of orange and a flurry of movement. Neither of them think about the fact she’s talking to her communicator, and the next discernable image is of her pale face pressed against Vincent’s chest, his fingers threading through her hair.

There’s a pretty clear smear of make-up down the front of his clothes.. but neither of them seem to notice, for a moment.

And just this once, she’ll be willing to concede the moment to Death City, cracking a blue eye open to murmur. ]

Nevermind, I’ve found him. However, please let us know if anyone is in need of assistance in the area in the next few hours. My apartment isn’t in bad shape, so I would rather spend the type helping those who’ve lost more….

It's something we'll have to consider. [ Even though, really, that's basically a yes. For once she's not grouching about that smile, or about them being seen this way. how long that will last might be a point of contention though. ]

There was a guest-run volunteer organization that called themselves Death City Fixers, I believe. Last I heard they were low on members however, and in the wake of this, likely stretched fairly thin..

The fire damage is really the only thing that will require another look at... [ Meaning she can deal with it later. At the moment, she's just glad they don't really have to move anywhere else. She's apparently still quite content against Vince for the moment, judging by the sea of orange. ]

Or Vincent could try to fix it. He's fairly handy..

I'm sure the fire department would have good advice and potentially be able to assist you with that.

Yes, I'll have to get in to contact with them somehow. They are most likely busy, at the moment, but we'll see...

I'd offer my assistance, but Lee and I are leaving for a mission soon..

It's fine. We'll figure it out. [ They'd dealt with life with less items on their hands than now, after all. Going from a huge home to the small space of the Rabbit, and now their semi-destroyed apartment... let's just say she's just happy to have a place to lay her head at the end of the day. ]
