[video] July 12th, afternoon
Ghoulia Yelps hasn't come into work lately.. I believe this is a strong indicator of her absence from the city.
[And he's skipping all other pretenses today and jumping straight to recruitment]
Unfortunately, this means I'm looking for a new assistant for the Watch- a secretarial position dealing in filing forms, planning, and handling financial data. Those organized with the ability to multi-task are strongly preferred.
We're also looking for more patrolmen with some level of combat experience to aid in the security of the city. Although the Erinyes took a chance opportunity, we need to ensure there are as few of those as possible.
It's possible to train for either of these positions, but the ability to pick up skills quickly is required, as we don't have too much time to devote to this.
We could also use those with technical skills in regards to mechanical or technical repair.
A reminder that members of the Watch are licensed to carry weaponry, and are paid 20 death dollars per hour of work. Those that can pass a driving test are also allowed to use motorbikes as transportation. Please direct any applications over here, thank you.
Filter- Watch
Though it was rather unneccessary to hold a celebration on my behalf, I certainly appreciate the effort and well-wishes. It was a nice break from the tension left over from the sandstorm and subsequent invasion.
And although it seems a Kishin Egg did a good amount of that work for us, there are still remnants of the Erinyes. They won't hold much in way of public favor after guiding the Kishin Eggs into the city, but it's still possible they'll attempt to reform and make another effort in the future. As always, keep a vigilant eye out for suspicious characters and be sure to report any suspect activities.
As well, Re-L and Vincent have recently accepted a promotion as Zone Leaders of the Red Light district in both Kotetsu and Zero's absence. Be sure to give them your cooperation.
In a similar vein, we've lost a number of deputies, and I'm looking to gauge interest in a few that may be interested in becoming Seconds for their respective Zone Leaders, positioned to take over command of that part of the city in the case of a Zone Lead's absence. Even if your zone already has a deputy, you're free to show interest in another.
It's also notable that our general membership is low, and a number of our shifts aren't well-covered. We can't afford to cut away anymore districts, however.. So I need opinions about condensing the three existing 6-hour shifts into two 8-hour shifts, and how well that may or may not work for some of you. It's just a proposal at this point, but one that would certainly give us a level of membership that's easier to maintain given BREW's poor reinforcement policy.
Should this change occur, I'll also be looking into changing the application process into more formal interviews to better assure member integrity among our ranks. Feel free to express insight any of you may have about adopting these changing policies. I'll be sure to take them into serious consideration before making a final decision.
[Neji offers the camera a faint smile before he reaches out to cut the feed]

I haven't heard from you in awhile; how are you faring?

A donation? How thoughtful of her. It'll certainly be put to good use.

It may be better for you to come pick it up. It's a hefty sum.

I wouldn't mind doing more for the Watch, if you'd have me. It's not like I ever do anything exciting besides my shifts and going on missions.
[Watch Filter; video]
As for doing more.. you were a Zone Leader when you were here last. One of my Zone Leaders, in fact.
[BACK IN THE DAY]
If you have interest in a deputy position, is there a district you'd prefer?

It's... interesting, to say the least. [ After all, talk about a culture shock, or difference in the things she had been allowed to experience in her own world, and what went on every day on their shifts in the red light district. It was easy to say that she was unflappable as always, though, batting an eye lash once or twice but still firmly moving on and forward with her day and her shift. ]
I think we can say that we are settling in well, though.

It's good to know you're doing well, however. I appreciate your willingness to adapt to such new situations.

I recall you mentioned leadership experience in your application, so that will work well. Takuto functions as Deputy for the Shopping district you're assigned currently however, so what other districts would you be interested in?

I'd also be happy to help out with interviewing or recruiting, if you need someone else on that.
[voice | Watch filter]
[Or maybe that's just the fewer people they have coming in]
As for the interview process, I may be interested in having you sit in on them at the very least, to offer opinions on a candidate as a Watcher.

Re-l already mentioned it, but yeah... we're doing alright so far. Still working to get used to that area, but we're getting there.

I have been thinking about applying for a driver's license for a while. Those motorbikes would make rounds more interesting.
[But as for the 8 hours shifts...]
If it is decided that we are to extend shifts, I may need to put in my notice at the club.
[As it was, spending nights outside their home was growing less and less appealing already. It was nice to have more wages but they had saved up quite enough, even with the rent for the condo.]
action;
He glances over to Lee with a raised brow]
I imagine you'd need to learn to drive first. [Not that a shinobi should take long to pick up any skill, particularly one that didn't look too challenging. Lee had one before as well.
But as for his second job, Neji would personally like if he quit, but Lee seemed to enjoy it]
Perhaps, perhaps not. I have yet to sort out precisely which hours we'll cover.

On another note, Karkat Vantas from your district has expressed an interest in becoming a Deputy under you. I've granted him permission to seek the opportunity.

That's the idea. We need to condense shifts in some way. I'm open to other suggestions, however.
