ATTACK ON DEATH CITY
Early morning yesterday found Death City under attack by five Witches and what is now being referred to as zombies. The attack is reported to be related to the contamination incident of the city’s waterway and water source last 31 January, 2010.
Shibusen’s headquarters has been identified as the attack’s primary target, though various kidnappings were instigated by Witch familiars. Majority of Death City residents were able to take shelter in evacuation sites throughout the city. Approximately 17 people were killed, with 43 missing and feared taken by the Witches.
Shibusen reports that four of its students were found dead in the academy. At least 40 of its agents, including a large number of our guests from the other worlds, were also taken.
The city engineers have reported the damage to be light to moderate to Death City infrastructure, though a section of the city was damaged by fire and Shibusen’s agents battling it out with the swarms.
Death City Times would like to take this opportunity to mourn the death of our Editor-in-Chief, Andy Rising, who defended the Times office bravely to his last breath.
[So. Zombie invasion. What are your final kill counts?
It's been a while since the city's been out from under a protective soul barrier, not that it matters either way with the madness inside everyone who's had water from the central supply. Count yourselves lucky; a purer form of black blood would have fused with your red blood cells and stayed with you forever. Now all you have to do is drink lots of imported water from Las Vegas and flush it out of your systems. You can also drop by the clinic for help with that, maybe they can give you emetics or laxatives to help speed up the process...
Temperatures for today will be 63/43F (17/6C).
