[It takes a few moments for Mami to decide what to do, before she even makes the post. It seems a bit too impersonal to make it text, but if it were video or voice... everyone will be able to see and here just how much of a wreck she was. How completely weak she was. So text it was.]

This morning, Madoka Kaname was returned to her home world. I'm not sure just how many people she knew here, but to those who were her friends, you deserve to know. I'm sorry, and... thank you. For being kind to her.

As you now know, I'm now without my partner. Will that affect my duties at all?

I'm Aqua, I can't say I knew her very well, but I've spoken to Madoka before. She seemed like a nice girl.

She is. She's quite possibly the kindest person I've ever met.

Then I'm glad I got the chance to meet her before she left.

And you know, even if she's been sent home as long as you keep your friends in your thoughts you can never really be separated. Whatever happens, your hearts will always remain connected.

It was quiet, and then many people left. That makes sense.

When you put it that way, I suppose it does. [If things are calm, less soldiers are needed. It does make sense, but it still hurts. Too much.]

It's as I told other people; she's needed elsewhere. She can help many people, and it would be wrong of me to be upset over that. [AND YET...]

For once, BREW did something that makes sense to us.

It isn't wrong to be upset when you can't see your friend, it only means that she's important to you. It's hard, though.

Sometimes, it's better if they go home.

However, it's still sad to see them gone.

It is. If someone can do much more good back home than they can here... well. It's selfish to wish that they were still here.

Maybe when she's done she'll return. People leave, but sometimes they come back when they have fulfilled their obligations...

Still, to wish that they'd be dragged away from a world where they might have finally found peace or happiness... I wouldn't want to take her away from that.

[There's also what Madoka had told her once, not long ago... that she had made a wish and through it, became a sort of goddess. To wish that Madoka would stay here with her would effectively doom their entire world. Mami is selfish, but not that selfish.]

You're the type who chooses to suffer alone if it means everyone else can be happy, aren't you?

( Ellie's all but kept herself away from people at all costs since she got here. Partly because she was still convinced, despite everything, that she was crazy. That, or everyone else was crazy, and while that didn't necessarily make a whole lot of difference compared to things back home, well. It was still hard to wrap her head around.

Figures it'd take an earthquake to make her get her act together. She hesitates before replying, but since it's text anyway, who's going to know? She's from 1993, she's hardly ever even seen a handheld device before, anyway. )

Thank you for your sympathy. [It doesn't help at all, and she honestly doesn't want it. The only reason she posted at all was because she didn't want Madoka's other friends to find out at some later time. She'd hate that, that's for sure.]
