Death City Times

EARTHQUAKE SHAKES NEVADA, MODERATE DAMAGE

An earthquake of 6.2 on the Richter scale shook Nevada yesterday morning, affecting all Nevada cities and parts of California and Utah. The epicenter of the earthquake was pinpointed to 30 miles northeast of Death City and 25 miles north of Las Vegas.

Damages were moderate for the most part, except in the immediate area of the epicenter. Large cracks in particular opened up in the roads of Death City and Las Vegas. Casualties number at 15 total so far for all cities.

The Nevada government is focusing their efforts into clearing debris, repairing roads, surveying damages, and providing support to those most heavily affected.

[Temperatures for today will be 55/37F (13/3C), and the skies will be partly cloudy during the day and clear in the evening, good weather conditions for rescue and retrieval operations. Death City's agents have been asked to help with relief efforts in Las Vegas. Use this post for coordination, and try not to get too distracted by the casinos.

The aftershocks should have tapered off by now, so don't worry too much about that nasty earthquake. See, even Death the Kid seems more concerned about Shibusen's spikes. Anyway, continue helping out where you can and stop by the clinic if you got hurt. There could be people still looking for assistance, too.
