There's been something that I've been wondering for a while.

How much practice together do you think a Meister and Weapon should have together before they go on a mission together?

*She had been here for months and still didn't have a partner. The only mission she had been on had been that one with Masaru that ended up with her being hurt for quite a while when she first got here.

It depends on the pair, truly. Many have become partners so that they could immediately take on missions, and nobody has died because of it.

And of course, some partners never have missions at all.

I see. It's just that, well, other than practicing with resonating with people, I haven't really done much here. And well, I'm starting to get a bit tired of just staying in the city, not really doing much, if anything to help out with what's going on.

[Ah, another one of those young people who is more concerned with helping people than their own safety. It's admirable, if somewhat idiotic.]

If your partner feels the same way, I'm sure you can find some way to help. Even pairs who aren't capable of missions but willing to fight are valuable to the city.

There isn't a set amount of time. It's whenever you feel comfortable enough that you want to try. I've trained with Santana only four times but she was a wonderful person to take on a mission, despite the fact that most people would normally need some more experience.

The experience will be subjective to everyone too, so don't get confused if you get different answers.

And I guess that makes sense. Everyone's different, but I just wanted to get a general idea.

So... what type of weapon is Santana anyway?

Yeah, but we had plenty of open communication way before we ever became partners. [ She nods. ]

Yeah. Just make sure you adjust yourself accordingly to your standards. I know you're a nice and earnest lady so being partners with someone new shouldn't be too difficult for you! To answer your other question though, Santana is a razored whip. Though, with my ability she could technically become any weapon.

Yeah, I can see where that would help out. I'll definitely keep stuff like that in mind.

Dunno yet. That's part of the problem. I have one person in mind I can go on a mission with, but I'm not really sure if we'd be good fit for being partners.

Maybe you should go on a mission and see how it goes? [He shrugs.] You don't have to be official partners to go on a mission. [Takuto would know, which reminds him that he should tell Chika the news.]

Though, I did finally get a partner. Just last night, actually. [He doesn't want to rub it in--he's trying to be encouraging. But he can't help but grin.]

It probably depends on the meister. Missions that need you to hunt kishin eggs normally involve fighting.
