I must commend you on the make of these communicators. You've clearly made an effort not to forget anything.

[He smirks just a little.] Therefore, I feel I should inform you of something you've overlooked.

Your emergency notification system is quite impressive. As I recall, there is a button as well as the option to write it on this screen, correct? [He pauses for a moment, his demeanor not changing any.] However, I am blind as you can see. In a dire situation, either option could prove very difficult for me to say the least. Is there another means to activate it? Or would you prefer that I perish?

[Still calm. Still smirking.]

So I've heard, but I don't believe this is programmed to understand the input of Braille.

The desire not to die though, and trying so hard, being willing to trample others beneath your feet just to break free and live, is the most human, isn't it? People are the most honest when they're like that.

Well yes, the capacity for different emotions requires a very complex brain, such as most humans. The more extreme, the harder they've been found to control. It applies to several, however.

I suppose that's the best alternative at this point. It still has the potential to be inconvenient.

I guess. Animals are usually a lot more simple-minded and honest than humans.

But learning something new is much easier than not dying. Or do you need an incentive? I'm not supposed to kill people anymore though so you'll have to find someone else.

That's why people have them as pets. Less of a chance of animals murdering you in your sleep.
