[For once, Masamune appears on the feed and he doesn't look like his usual self. Perched on his shoulder is a yellow parrot, familiar to those who knew a certain pirate weaponsmith. It lets out a squawk of "Put Ya Guns On!", flaps its wings but Masamune calms it down quickly enough and looks straight at the screen with a straight face.]

Katakura Kojuro is gone.

[Okay, so there were others like Mitsunari and Motochika but Kojuro gone was an entire ballpark all together. The pain that comes with uttering that statement is clear for anybody who is familiar with either the pair of them to see. Kojuro was everything to him. Everything. Try as he might, he couldn't really hide the shock in his voice.]

So this is kinda important, okay?

[Important to him at the very least, which is why he's treating this with the most seriousness he's ever mustered in his life.]

I lost my seventh blade. So I need a Weapon. A sword.

[He gestures to his "dragon tail" sheathes on his side. The parrot on his shoulder nuzzles his face almost affectionately, as if sensing the grief of it's new master.]

These are practise ones. So useless in a proper fight.

[It's imperative that he can protect himself, now that his retainer is gone. Which is why after a long pause, he shrugs and continues speaking.]

Gotta go with what you're familiar with. I'm familiar with swords. I'm not opposed to new things.

It would be good if the partner you'll be compatible with has a sword form. However, I'm worried that you might be limiting yourself by focusing only on swords.
