[ VIDEO ] ✿✿ [ March 5 ◦ Afternoon ]
[ When the screen comes to life it doesn't show a face or anything of the sort. Instead, there's a pair of feet with the remnants of green nail polish along the toes, surrounded by papers everywhere. Papers with various scratches on them litter the floor of a common apartment, notes taken in a hurry of the area and of the people she's seen in passing. Not that the owner of these feet have interacted with them, no, these are definitely the notes of being watched in silence. Maybe one of them is a bit too recognizable for one's liking, but there's not much time to read before the scene abruptly changes. The blur is quick and then suddenly there's a girl with an irritated expression on her face. Holding her hair back is a significant band and while it's a risk to be seen with it, there's a brave disposition in showing it so freely. Well, to her at least. For those who are unaware, it's just another accessory for a girl's hair. ]
So there's no button to just turn it on, no, it just decides when it wants to start recording. [ Clearly a novice, but a quick thinking one as it didn't take her long to realize it's working. ] That's how it is, huh? Telling me I'm the type that will probably need a second communicator because I'll shatter my first one. [ Twitch. Twitch. ] Turns out this thing is pretty resilient. I'm grateful, really. I don't need seven more years of bad luck.
[ The angle of the view changes as she seemingly balances the communication device on her knees, staring down at it with a curious look. After spending a few days here, the darkened proof of exhaustion has just about left her face, but etched in her expression is concern, almost as though she's worried about something unspoken. Her thoughts are never brought up thought as she waves her right hand as a nervous gesture, trying to lighten up the mood with a half-hearted smile. ]
Sorry, sorry. It's common procedure for those who are new to introduce themselves, right? [ Although she suspects that she's not alone here, hence why she chose to wear the protector. ] My name is Sakura Haruno. Now that that's out of the way, I have to ask a question.
[ With as serious of an expression one can muster when asking a ridiculous question: ] Is there a reason for the toys of Kakashi-sensei?

irresponsible sensei! ]Part of the challenge in collecting is collecting through various means. [ Hee. ] I haven't met him, but I met his best bro. So I've heard of him through that guy.
Enough about all of that though, Kakashi-sensei. Shouldn't you be asking me more important questions?
voice
Good luck, then.
[feigning innocence/the usual casual attitude] Such as?

But I know you're a Weapon, already; you told Lee, though you failed to mention what kind of weapon. So, then, what have you been doing since you arrived...four days ago? [Neji visited Gai, so word got out to him that she was here, even if Kakashi is bad about visiting his students.] And what was the last thing happening back home before you arrived here?
voice
[ Bwuh. ] You found out about that already though? Does that mean everything I say over these things can be heard by others or did you talk to him yourself?
Because I'm not answering that last question without knowing that much first.
voice
Publicly filtered messages are ones everyone can see. Your discussion with Lee was public.
Just a second.
[Private to Sakura]
Here. Now the discussion is filtered to just our devices.
[private voice]
Are you sure? I don't want to talk about it where everyone can hear.
[private voice]
[private voice]
There's a war going on back home, Kakashi-sensei. [ All of this trouble just for a simple statement. ]
You asked me that because people can return home and come back at different times, didn't you?
[private voice]
[There's a pause. He would ask who they lost, but he suspects they're too innumerable to count.] How bad is the war looking for us so far?
[private voice]
[ Trailing off to something under her breath, she doesn't continue on her concerns for Naruto. Instead she tries to gather the courage needed to answer him. ]
The collateral damage is impressive, but that's to be expected in a war of this nature. [ She's careful with her words, pausing between them. ] I really shouldn't be here. I should be there doing what I can to help out.
[private voice]
And we all should be. But it's nothing that can be helped. We have to win this war before we can go home. And we'll do that.
[That's one reason why it kind of hurts to know about the war--but he has to know anyway, even if there's nothing he can do now.]
[Collateral damage. People, structures, how much did she mean? The losses are significant, of course. Although he's gained some scattered information from Naruto and the others, Kakashi's own first-hand knowledge only goes as far as the assembly of ninja. So he carefully asks his question.] How is Division Three?
[private voice] Sorry for the delay, I had to cross-reference stuff. Correct me if I'm wrong <3
You asked me a difficult question, so I'm sorry it's taking me a while to find the words. [ If only he could see how much she's rubbing the side of her head. ] I heard about an encounter that's really surreal, but everything is with the war going on right now. While we did experience losses, it wasn't enough to keep us from winning that battle. The Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist were defeated, as well as a group of White Zetsu.
We had some help with that though. [ Go Naruto. ] I don't really know many of the details since I was focused on the injured instead of the battle. Before I showed up here, I was on the way to meet up with Naruto. We were asked to help them in the upcoming battle, so it was imperative I arrive as quick as I could.
... So when I ended up here, you can imagine my frustration.
