[It's only a week late, but it's better than never, right? Right? Oh dear, hopefully someone didn't just...say that to her without meaning it. Because she totally took it at face value.
Also, she's been having issues with getting lost. Yep. No biggie there, happens all the time. Somehow, she's managed to find herself in a tree in the park. Because, you see, there's a very interesting story to go to that, but first...]
It almost reminds me of home, in a way. Well, Sundermount and Kirkwall, I suppose. Except with barking dogs! That I haven't heard in so long, really. When they're not trying to attack me. It's really nice. And cleaner, too! [And sunnier..and quieter. People haven't been barking at her either. Not yet at least.]
It's just Death City isn't a very nice name. It's so...dismal. If we named it something happy, maybe people would stay here longer. Or be happier about it. Death City just doesn't seem to inspire much confidence. [But wait--that's not entirely what she meant!] Not that it's really needed or anything, just something to think about.
[She kind of lowers the communicator, laughing nervously.]
Sorry. I ramble when I get nervous. I don't mean to, it just happens. I'll just...stop talking now. Yes.
[She fumbles with the communicator as she hasn't quite learned how to turn it off yet. There's a small, "Oops," as really the only thing seen is the ground rushing to meet the screen before it turns off.]

That aside, death is in what the whole entire city is about, really. We have our currency, which is the Death Dollar, the different shops and eateries, such as Death By Pastry.
It is not all bad, it is only that one needs to get used to the idea. And pray do not worry, some of us tend to ramble along as well.
[Though he personally is more verbose than going on a ramble, but it's all well.]

I don't doubt it would after a while. I meant, more for the new arrivals. Death City doesn't quite make us think there's great things to come. [She laughs, rubbing the back of her neck.] But I suppose it could be cute, too.

[He considers this, though he knows he personally cannot really do much about it, as it all ultimately rests with Shibusen.]
Yet for the time being, it cannot really be helped, aside from knowing that there are others like yourself in a general sense, that have been able to make a living within this city.
I know not about it being "cute," but this is a city that has most everything one can imagine. My district, for example, is an entertainment district.
[And then some, but no need to really embellish the other attribute given to the district he oversees.]
