There's two different types that BREW can give to you when you're brought to this world. You can either be a Weapon or a Meister. A Weapon is pretty literal, means that you can physically transform into one. A Meister is the guy who gets to use you in battle.

It's kind of like having a parasitic Innocence, yeah? Allen can transform his body into a weapon, same as a Weapon from this place can. Except this time instead of having Mugen, you get an Allen who can turn into a sword! [Doesn't this make everything better?!]
