[ v i d e o ] ☠ march 19
Greetings, everyone. I know most of you who went out to help with yesterday's mission are tired and recovering from your injuries, but this mission was a success. The team was able to dismantle and bring back the Madness Emitter and it is currently under study by research teams formed by both our own Shibusen staff and a group of guests who have agreed to help.
There are two Madness Emitters left so the levels are still abnormally high. However we can already see a decrease in levels, further proving that taking down these emitters is key if we want to regain an advantage and move to a more offensive position.
Those emitters won't be going anywhere, and everyone needs time to recover—especially since the areas have been noted to be more dangerous than this one. Thus the next mission won't be until around next week.
In the meantime, however, for those interested we will be conducting training lessons to help resist the Madness. A week is obviously not going to make you invulnerable, but every bit will be to your advantage. Even those who do not plan on fighting should at least consider participating in one or two to at least understand more how the Madness affects you. A schedule of the training sessions will be posted for everyone to sign up.
More details will be provided later. For now, rest up.

I don't remember it, though.

Whatever it is you saw that time is fueled by your own fear and that is what the Madness brought out. You're going to have to either overcome or face that fear if you want to fully defend yourself.

I thought I had faced it!
[The idea that it could be related to being in such a strange situation reminiscent of that time hasn't occurred to her.]

Perhaps you had, but not entirely. Which is not unusual. But there may be something else that you haven't come to terms yet.

I don't want to fall apart because of this thing just when people need me the most.
[A hint?]

You're referring to what originally happened, aren't you? [Her brow furrows as she thinks about it. She can't still feel that guilty about it, can she?]

[it's almost like a psychological counseling session.]
[Video] * [Private]
[Yes, similar incidents, similar memories.]

If you go through this training exercise, it would be prudent if you could try and recognize which one had the most impact on you.

[Both were pretty traumatic, so it was kind of hard to figure it out herself.]

[otherwise maybe she should see an actual counselor...]

[Despite her choice of words, her tone was one of confidence--that she actually felt.]

Yeah. I think I will, and I think I know who I'll ask.

[She says that, but she hardly ever does.]
Thanks.

No problem.

Talk to you later.

[ooc: LMAO. Blair would be so disappointed. :D]
