[The feed turns on with a sharp click. It seems Kaede was still getting used to the new communicator.] Oh there it goes.

Umm.. does anybody know where I can buy some clothes? Something cute in my size. All the clothes we have are so dull or they don't fit me. They- BREW didn't let me bring my suitcase over here.

[She sighs. Living with two dudes that had no fashion sense didn't help at all with her problem.]

Oh and some stuffed animals would be nice for my new room... [She mutters the last part and turns off the audio.]

Try being your key word there. A little advice: If she asks if it looks nice, say yes. Nothing else, just 'yes' or 'yes, it looks lovely'. Any more than that... I fear the worst.

Alright. Why don't you go get your shoes and we'll head out now?

I'll... be sure to do that. I'm sure it will look nice regardless, so I doubt I'll have any reason to lie to her.

Okay! [She's out like lighting and gets her shoes on as quick as she can. Since she doesn't want to waste a minute of this or notify her father of their trip.]

[That's alright, Barnaby will notify him for you. Via mirror so it saves paper. And with that, he heads to the door and waits. She's working fast!]

Well, doesn't the mall close soon?

[She's bullshitting that of course]

Ah, is it...? [He checks his mirror for the time. Answer is 'no'. But you can't say that to an eager little girl.]

Well... I guess it's better to arrive as soon as possible, then.

Right. [She could practically squeal on the inside. And she was acting really giddy now.]

Follow me~ [She reached to hold Barnaby's hand as they left the apartment.]

Certainly. You've got directions to the mall?

[And he'll hold her hand because it's the safest way. Ehh, Kotetsu won't mind, he'll figure they're both out together. Putting his mirror in his pocket now. Kadoodoo can have Uncle Barnaby's full and undivided attention.]

[He doesn't say anything, but instead just ends the feed. Although, despite his lack of words, Kerrigan will find two filled teacups waiting on his desk. Yuri knows the drill well enough by now.]

Right here. [She pulls out her own communicator with her free hand, flicking open a map app to show where the mall was]

If we go this way, it's the fastest. [Her finger traced a few street lines between their apartment and the mall.]

[Obito starts, but the only indication of his surprise is the short pause of silence.]

... Really? Free candy? [He could certainly get behind that kind of holiday!] Seems silly to just get some if you dress up... But I guess my parents would pay me with candy if they ever saw me dress all fancy for once.

Actually most people dress up as witches, vampires, ghosts or even their favorite heroes. It's kind of childish now, but I get enough candy to last me two months.

Oh. Well... now it's just starting to sound silly. But the candy still sounds like a good idea!

Well, I know a couple of places where you can get some clothes, but like other people said, a lot of the stuff has skulls and stuff on it unless you get it custom made.

That said, some of the stuff that do have skulls and stuff on it here aren't really all that bad. Did you remember to pick up your welcome basket when you got to Casualty Communal during the tour?

But-- But, wouldn't it be better to have three people instead of only two? We can get shopping done a lot faster that way! Bunny can take care of one side of the store and I can take care of other! Teamwork! R-really, I'm not busy at all, and I've been shopping with you before-- [...not that he can recall the last time but WHEN SHE WAS A BABY...!] And, and Bunny might have trouble figuring out what to pick with you! I-it takes a lot of special skill to pick out clothes! I can do that! Honest!

What does that even mean? ...did I forget to mention it? I thought I did. [THIS IS CLEARLY NOT AN INSULT. His parenting skills are obvious and flawless.]

Yeah right. Mom picked your clothes for you. You still wear the same things everyday so why should I bother?

Ugh, skulls are for boy clothes. It's not trendy for girls.

Yeah, weren't you around those tables giving them out?
