[The feed turns on with a sharp click. It seems Kaede was still getting used to the new communicator.] Oh there it goes.

Umm.. does anybody know where I can buy some clothes? Something cute in my size. All the clothes we have are so dull or they don't fit me. They- BREW didn't let me bring my suitcase over here.

[She sighs. Living with two dudes that had no fashion sense didn't help at all with her problem.]

Oh and some stuffed animals would be nice for my new room... [She mutters the last part and turns off the audio.]

Right here. [She pulls out her own communicator with her free hand, flicking open a map app to show where the mall was]

If we go this way, it's the fastest. [Her finger traced a few street lines between their apartment and the mall.]

[He leans in and peers at it, then nods approvingly. Leaving prepared receives an acceptable nod.]

Then we'll head that way. It doesn't look like too far of a walk, but if we reach the main road here--[he reaches and points at one of the streets]--and you feel yourself getting too tired of the walk, we can take the bus a little closer.

Um.. [She puts her finger under her chin, thinking about it for a moment] I'm good for now. Let's take the long way for now.

Alright. Lead the way, Kaede.

[So cute~ She's got to be her mother's kid; Barnaby's sure she's too reasonable to be related to Kotetsu.]

[Your wish is her command Barnaby. But she'll be keeping up a brisk pace along the way.]

Did my Dad tell you about my training? [She asks while they cross into the mall lot.]

[He'll keep up easily. The walk's fast and he's almost surprised they made it as soon as they did. But... training?]

I don't recall him mentioning it. Are you going to attend classes at Shibusen?

Mmm, well he promise me he would talk to you first about us training together. He's not letting me do anything else like always.

[She bit her lip, he promised her about talking to Barnaby. Has he really been too busy?]

You... wish to train with me?

[Well, that's an odd request. He should have expected it. After a moment of thought, he just smiles.]

Alright. If it's alright with your father, then I don't mind.

Thank yooou~ [She practically skipped her way into the mall's entrance.]

[He chuckled. Such an eager girl!]

Alright. We'll start in the morning. I guess that means we'll have to purchase a gym outfit for you as well.

[Now that they were inside, she dragged him along into one of the more female oriented clothes stores.]

[And off they went to some store Barnaby would not belong in. This was alright. Yet he found himself thinking of Sarah's kind words of 'say she looks good in everything she picks out'. Yep, he could do this.]

Are you looking for anything in particular, Kaede?

[There was a bit of a problem, most of the clothes as she been warned about had only skulls and pumpkins on them. How ugly.]

Find me something that doesn't have Halloween stuff on it.

Something without Halloween decorations? That shouldn't be hard...

[Or he hoped not. He began to glance around for things that weren't black, white, or orange. Not too far into his search, he found a shirt with a butterfly print on it.]

Do you like butterflies, Kaede?

Hm..

[She glanced at the shirt, it was okay but a little childish]

Well I like clothes with bunnies- not you Bun- Barnaby! - I-I mean I still like you.. [She started to get lost in her words and stutter.]

[He has to sigh, but he's fighting back a little smile at that. So she really is picking up after her father.

...they will be Having Words after you go to bed.]

Then we'll try to find a different style.... There are far too many Halloween-style clothes here. [He just keeps poking through the rack and stumbles upon a little lavender vest with around twenty shiny buttons.

Hmm...]

Yeah, it's like everybody else said... [She stood on her tippy toes, trying to see what Barnaby had found in one row of clothes.]

Find anything?

It is, unfortunately. And the headmaster of the school has a skull mask on every day.

[It's odd. You get used to it, though. He leaned over and pulled up the vest, holding it out.]

Geez what's with this city..

[She takes a glance at the vest and cocks her head sideways.]

I dunno. We'll put that in as a maybe.

[Well... he liked it... sort of. He returned it to the rack, noting the location before he began to look around more. Luckily, he found something decent.]

Kaede, over there. There's a shelf of solids. If all else, we can find a few shirts with no prints at all.

[She makes a beeline for there. Solid colors were fine, especially in this desperate fashion situation.]

Oh ooh what about this? [She took out a solid purple shirt and showed it off towards Barnaby.]

[He followed right after her, smiling and nodding at the shirt.]

It's a nice color.

[That's a nice thing to say, but it wasn't the response she was expecting.]

Well would it look good on me?

[Oh. Judging by her question, he didn't give the correct answer. But she was asking him again, so he looked, almost as if considering it. For a girl like Kaede who wore a lot of brights and pastels...

Well, she did look good in colors. He nodded with a smile.]

I think it would look very good on you, Kaede.

[She's buying it... for now. Barnaby can act pretty convincingly and that was the type of response she was looking for. Just hope he didn't act like a broken record later on.]

Yes! Let's get some more of these! [She drags out a couple of shirts, in blue, light yellow, pink and orange hues and just piles them on Barnaby. Hope you have fun being her shopping cart.]
