[The feed turns on with a sharp click. It seems Kaede was still getting used to the new communicator.] Oh there it goes.

Umm.. does anybody know where I can buy some clothes? Something cute in my size. All the clothes we have are so dull or they don't fit me. They- BREW didn't let me bring my suitcase over here.

[She sighs. Living with two dudes that had no fashion sense didn't help at all with her problem.]

Oh and some stuffed animals would be nice for my new room... [She mutters the last part and turns off the audio.]

[He has to sigh, but he's fighting back a little smile at that. So she really is picking up after her father.

Then we'll try to find a different style.... There are far too many Halloween-style clothes here. [He just keeps poking through the rack and stumbles upon a little lavender vest with around twenty shiny buttons.

Hmm...]

Yeah, it's like everybody else said... [She stood on her tippy toes, trying to see what Barnaby had found in one row of clothes.]

Find anything?

It is, unfortunately. And the headmaster of the school has a skull mask on every day.

[It's odd. You get used to it, though. He leaned over and pulled up the vest, holding it out.]

Geez what's with this city..

[She takes a glance at the vest and cocks her head sideways.]

I dunno. We'll put that in as a maybe.

[Well... he liked it... sort of. He returned it to the rack, noting the location before he began to look around more. Luckily, he found something decent.]

Kaede, over there. There's a shelf of solids. If all else, we can find a few shirts with no prints at all.

[She makes a beeline for there. Solid colors were fine, especially in this desperate fashion situation.]

Oh ooh what about this? [She took out a solid purple shirt and showed it off towards Barnaby.]

[He followed right after her, smiling and nodding at the shirt.]

It's a nice color.

[That's a nice thing to say, but it wasn't the response she was expecting.]

Well would it look good on me?

[Oh. Judging by her question, he didn't give the correct answer. But she was asking him again, so he looked, almost as if considering it. For a girl like Kaede who wore a lot of brights and pastels...

Well, she did look good in colors. He nodded with a smile.]

I think it would look very good on you, Kaede.

[She's buying it... for now. Barnaby can act pretty convincingly and that was the type of response she was looking for. Just hope he didn't act like a broken record later on.]

Yes! Let's get some more of these! [She drags out a couple of shirts, in blue, light yellow, pink and orange hues and just piles them on Barnaby. Hope you have fun being her shopping cart.]

[Test #1: Passed. Thankfully, she seemed satisfied with that, so he happily accepted taking the clothing she hurried into his arms. So many random colors... Well, it made for a good array of outfits, so he didn't mind a bit.]

Don't forget, you'll need some pants or skirts as well.

[Did they have shopping carts here...? Or a hand basket or something? BRB looking for one.]

Yeah, yeah, there's some in the back.

[While Barnaby fetches for a place to store the pile of clothes, she runs off into the other side of the store where the bottoms were kept.]

[And he wiggled his way through the store, finally able to locate a little arm basket. Depositing the clothing, he went off to find her again.]

Did you find anything interesting?

[She dumped two pairs off pants immediately after spotting the baskets.]

These are okay. Why don't we find a changing room now?

[This girl worked fast! He poked at them for a moment, rather glad she knew her own size, and smiled.]

Alright. I think they're toward the back.

Come along. [She ordered her slave around, finding a free stall among the rows.]

You stay here, I'll take these. [She picked up the basket with her own hands.]

[Yes miss, coming right along. He followed her, handing over the basket once they found the dressing rooms.]

Alright. I'll wait here.

I'll be out in a minute.

[She shuts the door on the stall, undresses and..? She seems to be taking a while changing into a new outfit.

[Waiting quietly, Barnaby checked his watch when he noticed she was taking a while.]

Kaede? Are you still doing alright in there? Or do you need some assistance?

No- Don't come in! I'll be out in just a minute. [She's just getting used to how she didn't have grandma this time helping her dress.

And after a few more seconds she emerges wearing a cute pink top with jeans that stopped at her calf.] So how do I look?

[Not coming in! But no need to flag down help either. He waits until she returns, smiling as she does.]

You look very cute in that outfit, Kaede.

[She blushes and sort of stammers from hearing that sort of compliment out of Barnaby's mouth.]

R-Really!?

Really. [He smiled. Now he could see why Kotetsu gushed over her so much. But she still had a few other outfits, didn't she? He nodded his head in her direction.]

Why don't you try on another outfit?

O-Okay! I'll change in a hurry.

[She quickly scattered back into the changing room, hardly able to keep her squeals down after hearing Barnaby's approval. And as promised she changed into another outfit.]

I'm readyyy~

[Oh these young fans. He was actually rather surprised that she was so excited to hear the mediocre compliment, but it just meant that he would have to keep it up to keep her pacified. As she returned in the new outfit, he held up a hand and gestured in a small circle.]

Spin around for a moment, please?
