For humans, it is generally understood that people do not kill other people...or rather should not. That does not mean people do not go against that though and hurt others anyways.

Are there many trolls in your world? The only ones I know of are in stories and certainly not ones that cull.

I think the types of trolls you are would be different from what a troll is in my world. A troll for me would be something from a fairy tale and living beneath a bridge. The types of trolls you and those you know are sound far more intelligent.
