Merely noting them down isn't much of a to-do at all, although I suppose given the previously mentioned rampant paranoia I shouldn't be surprised. One cannot combat issues without fully understanding their scope first.

While that is perfectly true, therapy is different for each patient. No one's needs are completely the same, and often moving a bit out of one's comfort zone can aid in recognizing obstacles that were previously invisible.
