[First thing you see is wires, black thick wires on the screen, which is turned to have a vertical view on the floor.

Then, the wires move, revealing a very pale hand, which moves to the screen to adjust it.

Now you see Kei's face, he is all warped in thick wire with a couple of strange machines on the background (guy not included)]

... Can someone please assist me? [He gasps between the wires] I am currently in the Casual communal building, 3rd N... The door is open I believe...

{Yako apparently needs a refresher on how to treat her mirror. The video switches on while she's clearing away an impressive amount of plates, a strange, bittersweet look in her eye. It's clear enough that there's something weighing on her mind, but not even the affectionate mammoth of a dog nosing at her hip rouses her very much. After a few seconds, however, something does grab her attention.

A knock at the door.

Frowning slightly, she sets down her load on the counter of her kitchenette and walks off-screen. There's the sound of the door opening, and then a faint, puzzled:}

...what on Earth...?

{Soon enough She comes back into view, now lugging a large parcel wrapped in brown paper. She sets it down on the table and stares at it for a moment, her brow wrinkling. Finally, she plucks something off of the top: a cute, cheery birthday card that was taped on.}

No name. And I don't remember telling anybody it was today...

{She shrugs, though, and sets to work peeling back the brown paper to reveal a thick layer of newspaper. Rolling her eyes, she tears through that as well, finally reaching her gift: a large glass box, filled with something very...red. It's a familiar sight, if you've been watching the Network lately.

Yako blinks, once, and goes very still and very pale.

The next moment, she's whirling around and out of the apartment, an indignant cry ringing behind her.}
