[As the video feed turns on, Johan appears to still be fiddling a little with his device. After a couple of short moments, he seems satisfied and sits back a little, facing the screen with a large grin.]

This little mirror-thing is pretty cool! It's a lot more hi-tech than anything I'm used to, haha.

I was thinking earlier, and I realized I haven't introduced myself on the network, yet. So, hi, everyone! [He waves a little at the screen.] I'm Johan!

[He glances down and rummages around a little bit off screen before looking back up.] I heard that there were a few duelists around here? [He brings his hand up to the screen, revealing a deck of trading cards that he had seemingly been gathering up just a moment ago. He remembers Judai having a bit of confusion with this particular subject earlier, so he figures it's best to clarify.] If any of you see this and want to duel, just let me know!

I know that there's another card game popular here, but I can't help but be curious as to what other kinds of games people here enjoy!

It wasn't that hard! He's staying right across the hall, actually. [He laughs.]

[Turning back to Judai, he notices just how quickly he seems to be demolishing those cookies.] You are leaving some food in the kitchen... right?

[Judai nods his agreement, but it's gotten a little harder to actually talk through the mouthful of cookie...

At Johan's question, though, he swallows about half of the mouthful and nods again.]

Yeah! There's like... six more cookies in there. [Yes, that's what he'd meant, of course.][Nosy, nosy]

Heeeeh, that is pretty lucky!

[[smirks over at Juudai]] Though not for your pantry, ne? [[but he laughs anyway. His pantry had the same problem after all.]]

So, is it just cookies that you left? That sounds a little backwards for you. [He's sure there's more than that, but he can't resist teasing Judai.]

[He turns back to Bakura.] If there's anything left, you're welcome to help yourself.

Hey, I left other stuff too! [Oh, so that's why they were making fun of him, uuughhh.] I only had some cookies and an apple...

[He shoves another cookie into his mouth before asking...] So what'd you bring for Johan? [Which is probably hardly understandable with cookie in his mouth.]

Battaku cards! [[smiles]] And I'm fine, thank you! If anything, I should have brought something over as a welcome.

[wearspurpleclothes]

You did bring something, though! [Referring to the cards.] That's more than enough, haha.

Heck yeah! Cards are the best welcoming gift! [And now Judai was interested in the cards.] Can I see 'em??

[shiromadoushi]

Un, true enough! [[smiles warmly]] It's the same starter deck I brought you, Juudai-kun, though I'm sure the packs will have different ones in them!

[wearspurpleclothes]

[Johan opens up the starter deck and sifts through the cards a little bit.]

This doesn't look too complicated...

[It doesn't matter if it's the same, Judai is suddenly right next to Johan, looking eagerly at the cards.]

Yeah! It's been pretty easy to pick up so far. Come on, come on! Lemme see what else you've got!

And it also uses the "make shit up as you go along" rules of the manga/anime! :D

I tried to make it pretty similar to Duel Monsters! So a lot of the rules are basically the same, only with some alterations for some of the different cards. So it should be really easy for everyone from back home to pick up on it and get right back into playing~

Those are the best rules!

That was smart of you. [He laughs, still shifting through the starter deck. He wants to get a good look at the cards okay Judai sheesh hold your horses.]

[He moves on to opening up one of the booster packs once he's looked through everything in the starter deck.]

[Judai is busy peering over Johan's shoulder as he goes through all of the cards.]

Really smart! Did you, like, know that more people from home were gonna show up?

[shiromadoushi]

Not at all! [[laughs, rubbing the back of his neck]] I just wanted to be able to share the game with everyone, which I couldn't do with only my deck here! But it worked out pretty well, since just a few days after it was released, Yuugi-kun showed up!

[wearspurpleclothes]

That's some pretty lucky timing...! [He takes a little more time in looking through the booster packs than what was in the starter deck, holding them out in such a way that Judai can take a look and see if there's anything that catches his eye.]

DON'T YOU GOTCHA! THAT'S MY THING!

Oh wow! Seriously, it's like you made the game special for Yugi-san that way! [Judai is still overly ecstatic about the fact that Yugi's here, so...

Oh, and he snatches one of the cards from Johan, digging in his pocket to pull out his own cards, and replaces it with one from his collection with a grin. Fair trade, right?]

*cannot match icons and is sad for it*

[[laughs, rubbing the back of his neck]] Sort of seems that way, doesn't it?

It's okay, I'll match icons with you.

[wearspurpleclothes]

Almost, haha! Maybe he showed up when he did because he knew the cards were coming out.

[... Okay that would be silly. He blinks a little bit at the card Judai swapped into his hand before turning to his friend.] Hey, if you have your cards on you, you should let me see them! [So he can return the favor of trading some out, of course.]

Wow, that'd be great if that's how this thing works. Like... it can read minds or something. [Wow, okay Judai, whatever.]

Huh? Oh! Okay! [He reaches back to his deck holster on his belt, into which he has traded out his Duel Monsters deck for his Battaku cards, and pulls them out.] Here!

[shiromadoushi]

Somehow I don't think it's that. Though who knows with BREW!

[[Maybe he should have brought more cards... ah well. Juudai could always go grab his own from his room, right?]]

[As he takes Judai's cards, Johan notices that the Battaku cards came out of the holster his Duel Monsters cards were usually kept in, and blinks in mild bewilderment. He'll... ask about it later.

For now oh wow they're kind of standing in the middle of the entryway, aren't they?] Let's go sit!

I think it'd be cooler if it read minds.

[Oh, but Judai's all over sitting down, and he goes to flop on the floor somewhere almost immediately.] I think I might have some good stuff in there. [He comments idly.]

Might be pretty messy if it did. Could you imagine if BREW brought in every person someone thought about?
