I came to the clinic today and there was a letter for me. It was from Kurapika and he said that this was going to happen sooner rather than later... Does that mean he's gone? He managed to restock the cabinets...

[She pauses, frowning]

He wants the clinic to be taken care of, but what should we do? I mean, I can keep it clean and cook and keep stock, but what about managing it?

.. Sorry, I just thought it was strange. I always got the impression that people left here rather suddenly.

It might have something to do with the length of time they've been here.

So in other words, you might think that the longer the person has been here, the more they realise when they might leave?

I think so. He was acting distant with everyone before today.

.. I don't know if that's a good or a bad thing. [ she sighs to herself. ] Of course it'd be good to know in advance when you'd leave, but if it'd just make people act all sad or distant..

[He left a note. Maybe that's what he was working on?]

.. Were you and that person close?

[ It makes her wonder something. ]

We worked together... and we talked sometime outside of the clinic.

[Not sure what to call that, but Rosalia would say they were friends.]

Then.. I can't help but find it stupid. [ She's still blunt, yes. ] Shouldn't he have wanted to spend his last moments here with the people he cared about then? Now he just wasted them.

I don't know. Maybe he thought it would be better.

Do you think he thought being alone was better?

Maybe. I don't really know.
