Death Cit~y!!
[The singsong voice of a young boy pipes up on DEMISE. Even from just those two words, you can tell someone's excited.]
Today I bring you news of a big project! With my partner, Yuuichi-san. Hey hey, Yuuichi-san, say hi.
[Yuuichi's smile widens just a little bit, and he gives the network a small wave.]
Hello everyone, and good morning! Taiyou-kun and I are very excited to announce this project that we've been working on for a while now, and we're finally ready to set it into gear! [He looks over at Taiyou, expecting the boy to take it from there.]
This is the exciting new group known as...
[He glances over at his partner again, and in a visual cue readable from his lips counts down: 3, 2, 1...]
DEATH CITY FIXERS!
[The bright-eyed boy continues.]
We thought it would be nice to help out the refugees! I'm sure some of you have already gone out and done it, but how about having something of a system? Yuuichi-san and I, we've already recruited a few fellow guests, and even locals. Maybe you've seen our posters around.
By wearing either of these pins, [He raises up two kinds: one with the sun, and the other with the moon--but both with a comical bandage on their head.] ... The refugees will know you're on duty, and are free to approach you!
That's right! [And Yuuichi shows off his own cute moon badge.] When you're on duty, we request that you wear your pins so everyone can know that you're part of our group! It doesn't matter where you wear it, just make sure it's noticeable, okay?
[He places a hand to his chin as he thinks of the next subject to bring up.]
Ah, right! Since this is such a big project, we can't really run it just by ourselves. We need leaders! Right now we only have recruited one Alucard-kun, who is in charge of assisting moves out and into The Creeping Crypts. We need lots more people to help! So if you would like to sign up to be a leader, please contact either Taiyou-kun or I and tell us what you would like to be in charge of!
I hope they aren't offended by the way they were drawn... In my opinion the likeness is good! [Taiyou nods to himself.] Oh! The tasks are: general clean up, food packing, distribution of the rations to the refugees--who you have to help organize into a line, by the way--and the aforementioned helping people move. With the exception of the leaders, you're free to switch between tasks day-by-day, or even in the middle of them. Like in the morning you do this, then in the afternoon that... And in the evening we can all go out and have dinner!
Membership will always be open! Activities start beginning tomorrow. If no one among the guests wants to try being leader, we'll be assigning locals. The ones I talked to were a little reluctant to, though. So if you take it off of their hands I think they'd appreciate it!
I... think that's all. [He turns to Yuuichi for a final clarification.] Was that it?
I think so, Taiyou-kun. [He gives the boy a thumbs up.]
Remember, if you have any questions, ask Taiyou-kun or I!
We'll be waiting!
[ooc: Taiyou is orange and Yuuichi is blue. Please state in the subject line if you want a reply from a specific one. Otherwise, we will reply as we see fit! Refer to the plotting post for leadership sign-ups and other details. It would also be a good opportunity for making new or deepening current CR, hinthint.]

video; give me both!!
Somehow I'm not too surprised to hear about this project from you two. [ The other one seems pretty enthusiastic too, after all.. ]
okay!!!!!!!!!
Are you interested in helping, Ange-chan?
no subject
[ Well it's not like you two are linked at the hip, Taiyou. Still--it makes a good introduction! ]
Nice to meet you, Yuuichi-san's friend person!
no subject
I'm not the kind of person to do community work. [ Uh-huh, makes a real impact after helping out a guy with crutches carrying groceries.. ] And we're not friends, don't get the wrong idea. [ tsun.. ]
no subject
Taiyou-kun, this is Ange-chan! She helped me carry my groceries the other day. [And he totally thinks she's a friend but he won't say it if it makes her uncomfortable]
no subject
If you're helping out in little things like that, then I'm sure you're making people happy even without being part of our group.
no subject
It's just that I'm not cruel enough to watch someone struggle with their groceries like that when they're already having trouble walking. It's just like kicking a puppy, it's something nobody with common sense does.
no subject
Either way, I really appreciated the help.
no subject
Hey, Yuuichi-san, Ange's the "aloof but kind" sort, isn't she? How cool~
no subject
(And yes, she did compare him to a kicked puppy. She sure did.) ]
Don't just decide by yourself what kind of type I am..!
and then i was two weeks late
Now now Taiyou-kun, don't talk about people like they're not there, that's rude! [But he's smiling all the same.]
Though I have to say Ange-chan, you remind me of my little brother quite a bit! He's quiet and tries to act cool and aloof on the outside, but he's very kind and he really means well! Just like you.
[ video ] Give me both!
Sure! We'll do separate threads for this one c:

It's really kind of you two to do this.

It will be a nice way of thanking them for everything they've done. [Because while they technically had been kidnapped, Aqua didn't think they could really blame Shibusen for that happening.]
Sorry for my late tag! ((o(;△.;)o))
No problem!
no subject
I hope we can get a lot of people involved.
no subject
I could ask around for you guys too.
video; either works~
Hey, I'd like to help with... I don't know. I can carry stuff or whatever you need me to do.
no subject
[ He remembers Obito from a week and then some ago. It's good to see him feeling well enough to leave his room. Or in this case, offer to. ]
Heh, do you want a sun pin or a moon one?
no subject
He pulls a face.]
Ugh... I guess if I have to wear one, I'll take the moon.
no subject
[ ... Oh, that's a little deflating. ]
You don't like them?
no subject
[Huh. What a cute kid. No wonder he was a fan of Gai's.]
I just have a personal style I don't wanna screw up. They're fine, I guess... I won't mind wearing it as a volunteer.
no subject
[ If it turns out something he drew was warding people off from joining he'd never forgive myself! ]
It's small, so I don't think it'll ruin your style too badly.
no subject
Yeah, I'm sure it'll be fine. Been thinking about making some changes to my wardrobe, anyway.
So when are we doing this thing, anyway?
no subject
But as I said, since this is a volunteer thing we won't nag if you're busy on some days or aren't feeling well. Who knows how long the refugees are sticking around...
no subject
That sounds reasonable. I'll probably show up on days I don't have a work shift I need to go to. I don't have a lot to do nowadays except work, so...
