[ Rhode's sitting out at some cafe, bundled up with a little scarf and earmuffs and holding a magazine in her other hand. She seems to be paying more attention to the people walking by than the communicator, though. ]

You know... Watching the natives- And most of the guests, too, I suppose- I can't help but notice that religion isn't terribly important to a lot of the people in this world.

There are churches and books and all of that, and I suppose people in other cities might be different, but in Death City, most people don't really go to services every Sunday. A lot of worlds might not have religion at all, or something like that, but with the number of worlds that are similar to this one, I wouldn't think that things had changed that much.

So do other worlds not have religion, or ones that aren't like Christianity and Catholicism, or that don't have things like church? Or do people just not do that sort of thing in this city?

I do. But that doesn't mean I know everything about this world, and knowing everything about this world will make me even more knowledgeable than I already am.

I guess so. The Christian religion never seemed that interesting to me. [By that, he means it seems weird.]

Does your Japan have Christianity, then? [ She wouldn't know, since Japan in her world is a wasteland, and all. ]

There is probably some small population of people in the living world of Japan that follow it. Most humans in Japan seem to follow Buddhism or Shinto. [He doesn't even remember what Japan was like when he was living.]

[ She doesn't really get the whole Shinto and Buddhism bit, but she smiles when he specifies the 'living' world. ]

I suppose you'd know if any of it's true or not in your world. Being what you are.

[He's quiet a moment, then shrugs a little.]

It's been awhile since I've paid much attention to what humans believe when it comes to the afterlife... but I would say the truth in my world is made up of several different beliefs and some people couldn't imagine.

[ She lets out a curious noise, propping her chin up on her hand. ]

I haven't been told very much about your world, you know. You should tell me more about it someday.

[He pauses, watching her, then nods a little bit.]

I could do that. The same goes for the world you came from.

Oh, I doubt it's as fascinating as the afterlife... But if you really want to know, I suppose we can talk about it.
