I tried to break into Santa's workshop a bunch of times. Security's pretty tight up there.

[he says it with a grin and a shrug, leaning back against the counter, but he doesn't seem to be joking.]

[How is he grinning about that?] You shouldn't do that. He'll put you on his naughty list for sure!

It's a little late for that. Last time I asked, I've got the record as far as the naughty list goes. [though he never did get to ask whether that was the record for time spent on the naughty list or for being the most naughty. between 300 years of mischief or the singular incident that was easter sunday 1968, he really can't even guess at which it might be.]

Maybe? I might have just gotten off recently for some really good behavior, but it seems like a shame to let go of that record now...
