[under the blaring sound of the alert siren, rosalia's voice comes through a bit frantically, followed by one much less familiar to the network.]

N-No! No emergency! Jack's new! I'm really sorry about this!

Well, nothing else as bad as that, but I might have gone for a few extra flurries at the very end of winter a few times, and maybe those sometimes happened to fall on Easter...

...did you do that on purpose?

[Welp- at least the stories where he's a it of a troublemaker seem to be right.]

Well, I only just really joined up with them. But yeah, that's all water under the bridge now. We're cool.

Oh- then things are alright. That is... a relief. It would not be good, I suppose, to not work through things like that before becoming teammates.

It, uh...it was kind of a process.

Making things up to people- or, er, bunnies as the case may be- can be a bit of a process, yes.

So you really still believe in all of us? [nice to know some kids would last well into their teens.]

It seems a bit silly, probably- but honestly, I prefer to believe in things until I have good reason to do otherwise.

[She laughs a little then, and adds-]

Besides- between the angels, witches and aliens, I think it would be silly not to believe in everything else existing somewhere.

Yeah, I've ready talked to an alien and a goddess, and someone mentioned a giant robot...

[does he sound really excited about that last part? oh who cares, that still sounds so cool.]

Oh, yes- Giroro is... well. He is interesting, to say the least- though I was not aware there was a goddess here as well.

[She blinks a little at the last, and then curiously-]

Giant robot... do you mean Bumblebee?

Yeah, she's a wolf, and apparently the goddess of the sun? Nice lady.

[but he totally perks up at that name.]

Yeah, that's what Rosalia said. You know it?

Oh! I have seen her around then, during training...

[She blinks-- and then giggles delightedly.]

Yes I do, actually! He is my partner!

Really? [so excited. by the way the image shakes a little, he seems to be bouncing on the balls of his feet.] How big is he? Can he talk? What do you mean by partner?

Yes, really.

[She's actually really delighted to see someone as excited to hear about Bee as she was when she met him.]

He is... quite big though I cannot say exactly how tall, no he cannot talk, but he communicates via texts or music- and by partner, I mean that I am his Meister.

Music? [he kind of has a mental image of a big robotic sandman with a violin.] And you mean that whole weapon and meister thing everyone keeps talking about? How's that all work?

Yes- on his radio.

[Wait until you get to experience that Jack, it's kind of hilarious.]

It is... well. I am uncertain as to the entirety of it myself, but to put it simply, Meisters and Weapons work together to fight against Witches, Kishin, and their minions.

So, the weapons turn into...something. And, what, the meisters fight with them?

Essentially, yes- the shapes and abilities of weapons vary greatly, as do the abilities Meisters receive. Finding someone who meshes well with you can be difficult, but it is well worth it.

And you mesh well with a giant robot. Cool.

[She gives a slightly bemused smile.]

...he and I have very similar ways of thinking, and of handling situations.

[What can she say besides that, really? (Actually, they're a lot alike period, but Fabiola doesn't quite realize that.)]

Does he...y'know, think? I mean, if he's a robot... I'm no scientist or anything, but how does that work?

Of course he thinks- he is not an ordinary robot as most people would think. He is from a planet where robots are the primary species. In all honesty... he could be more accurately described as a sentient robotic being, I think.
