Of course they exist, but they're not kids. We protect wonder and hopes and dreams in children -- I don't really know how we'd do that for plants and animals.

[He thinks for a moment, torn between ending their conversation here and saying some more just because he has nothing better to do and Jack already showed that he can be provoked.]
