Hey there everyone, your resident goddess of love here with special guest miss Rise Kujikawa for the first ever Death City broadcast of my show!

Hey everyone! I'm really excited to be here for such a special occasion. Thank you for having me on the show, Cupid-chan!

Thank you for agreeing to help out, Rise! Now, in just a few moments, Rise and I will start off with advice to questions that were left in my inbox in this last week or so. After that you're all free to send in texts to my inbox or just comment right here and we'll get to any questions you might have or have been too bashful to send in!

And don't be shy about it. Remember, there's probably at least one other person out there who's wondered the same thing you are, or had similar troubles to those you're having. So by asking our advice you're not only helping yourself, you're helping those other people too.

Now, since this is a little different than my usual shows, I just have a couple of rules to put in place. One- nothing that will make me have to paraphrase for the sake of the younger residents without a filter, and two- no commentary about how 'romance is stupid'. If you're going to act like a pre-teen, I will not hesitate to take you to school on the matter.

Right. And serious questions only, please. If you think the subject matter means it's okay for you to waste our time with fake nonsense questions, you'd better think again. We'd much rather spend our time helping those who genuinely need our help.

Then you should make up your mind as to which one it is you want to be with before anything else, because I sure hope you're not planning to treat one of them as a contingency plan.

Yeah, I guess so....

So I mean, if he turns me down and we're still friends after... how the hell are you supposed to go about that like.. normally? I mean it seems like it's gonna be awkward no matter what..

It will definitely be awkward, but if you're both willing to try and stay friends after that, I'm sure you'll work it out eventually. Things like that don't just go away after all, but at the very least you can be content with the fact that you can still be their friend.

I guess. It's just going to be hard to live with someone every day as a friend knowing that you want them to be more than that.

.... Even worse when we tend to share a bed more often than not, even though it's completely platonic at the moment.

Geez, no one here ever complicates things by halves, do they?

[But she sounds more amused than anything else.]

Look, if things don't work out, they don't work out- but it's not that much different than asking a classmate or coworker out and being turned down. Yes, it's going to kind of suck at first, but it'll get easier, and eventually, you'll even be able to look them in the face again!

[She chuckles quietly, to show she's joking.]

But no, really- it does get easier to handle, once you know whether or not you have a chance. Believe me.

It's more a thing that's... left over from our war back home, so... I dunno.

I guess it will be. It's better than not knowing at all, right?

And yeah- better to have loved and lost, even if it's one-sided.

Well we're both orphans, in our world - and then basically child soldiers. So.. we're used to sharing beds and it uh.. feels more secure to have someone else sleeping next to you when you come straight out of war time. Like, I guess we haven't 'assimilated' into normalcy yet..

Yeah.. I just like to love more than lose.

Oh.

[That's so sad...]

Well, I'm sorry to hear that- it must be difficult for both of you.

[A sigh- it's a shame, but...]

Honestly, it's one of the perils of falling in love- having it returned isn't always a guarantee.

Eh don't worry about it. We'll survive, it's just what we do!

Yeah, I just don't wanna make the living situation awkward for us both, is all.

I'm not doubting it.

[A quiet sound of agreement.]

Yeah, I understand, but if you really want to know, then you're going to have to take the chance.

Yeah.... Eventually I'll have to. Eventually being the key word.

Well, just don't hold out too long. You might lose out to someone else before you get the chance.

That'd be even worse, for me. Though I guess as long as he's happy there's no really much I can do about it, huh?

Well, that much at least shows you're willing to let him be happy even if it's not with you.
