Um, has anyone heard from Yako today? Or... yesterday?

[The hallway behind him isn't his own. In fact, anyone who has been over to Yako's would know he's standing right in front of her door. He's posting this video after knocking for a desperately long time.]

[Hm. He's heard whispers already but this is the first time it was about anyone he knew.]

I have no spoken with her in quite some time but I can keep an eye out for her if you like? I take it her communicator is still working?

[Atem is a little late to the game. Takuto is already panicking just about as much as a person can panic.]

Yes, it's still working. She just won't answer. I think... I think something must have happened to her.

[Atem remains surprisingly unnerved. It’s not that he wasn’t unconcerned by these developments, rather he made a concerted effort to maintain a level head. The last thing someone in Takuto’s state needed was more people getting upset. ]

Then I stand by what I said. I’d like to help if I can. [While Atem wasn’t particular close to them, his conscience wouldn’t allow him to ignore it.]

She likes restaurants and she works at the Agency. She's not home, not at work, and not w-walking her d-dog. At this point, looking anywhere for her would be helpful.

[Still panicking, of course. This is his precious Yako who has gone missing, after all.]

Hey. You said it has only been a day since you heard from her right? The odds are still good that she's alright. [He wants to sound reassuring although that’s not exactly his strong suit. It's not exactly the best time for someone to turn up missing after all.]

[He doesn't reply immediately to the Pharaoh's words. Even if Yako is alright, he's pretty sure the dog isn't.]

...Right.

[There was a time when he could make promises and, furthermore, make it so. In this world, he has no such control. Not that he laments such power, merely the ability to help someone -- both of them really -- that clearly needs it.]

If I see so much as a trace of her you will be the first to know, Takuto.
