[ The screen turns on as there is harsh laughter heard before the camera itself focuses. Gyobu lies on his side on the floor with his wheelchair turned over. His bandages slightly torn in the fall, having gotten caught on the arm of his mode of transportation. Yet the leper appears to be more than a little amused that this is his state. He crawls to try to right the wheelchair back up, but lacks the strength to do so.

Labored breath as he rests his body against it; perhaps, he would have far better luck if he was not just laughing to himself. He thought that it was hilarious. The misery that he is in now -- it continues to pile up until there would be none left for anyone. But he felt that he could easily spread a bit of the rage that he has boiling inside of him right now. Honestly, he would make sure of it, and that was what gave him the most joy. ]

[Bold looks like she's caught between concern and wanting to laugh.]

Where are you?

Ah, there's my communicator...

[ The bandaged hand reaches out to pick it up. ]

That is a good question. I was knocked out a bit when I fell... I just woke up. [ Another snicker. ]

And clearly it's scrambled your brain a little if you're laughing about that.

[She stifles a yawn and stretches her arms] Are you in your apartment or something? I guess as a Zone Leader I have to help you...~

[Despite her words it's said in an almost teasing tone and she tries to hide a smile.

And by "I" she means "Lain."]

Ah, this does look like my apartment. Somewhat.

[ He begins coughing violently, turning his mouth to gag softly into his wrist. ]

And my brain is only as scrambled as anyone else's, Bold.

Great. Floor and room? [She's already moving.

Her nose scrunches in a look of disgust at the gagging and coughing. Gross, dude.] 'We're all mad here' [THat quote seemed appropriate at this moment]

Is your door locked or am I allowed to break it down without getting in too much trouble? [there's a bit of a grin and she snickers]

You think it'll change?

You're allowed to break it down. Add to the kindling of the small fire that's started in the kitchen.

Madness is contagious. Or so I am led to believe.

[She stumbles a little in her shock] What!? YOur kitchen isn't seriously on fire, is it!?

[She makes a bit of a face at him] You are so weird. [JUST SAYING]

[ He'd give more fucks, but he can't exactly crawl to safety with how he is now. Tired and slightly disoriented. But he does have enough sense to find amusement in what she says, smiling with another harsh laugh. ] I know.

As long as you're aware of your crazy. It's the people who are totally nuts but think they're sane is where we have to worry.

[She almost there (her little legs can only carry her so far) and already dreading having to touch him, awful as it might seem. Lain scolds her in the back of her mind and Bold rolls her eyes]

Be there soon. Should I get a doctor too or something?

They would say that madness is in the eye of the beholder.

[ Harsh laughter. ]

Escaping to somewhere safety in a wheelchair... [ A beat. ] Kojuro is coming, too. So you can get him to carry me.

They would be wrong.

Who the hell is Kojuro? [She makes a face; at least this way she might not have to touch him. Even if Lain doesn't care, Bold would really rather not.]

[ And laughs once more. ]

Someone from my world. A friend.

[... o_o]

You require assistance, Yoshitsugu-dono. What is your location?

It seems as though I do.

My apartment, or what is left of it.

I will be there shortly.

Ah, Koujurou, how good it is to know I can count on you.

Oh yeah so he switched to voice because he's on the move, as promised.]

[ Turns his head about, his eyes unfocused but slowly able to catch a glimpse of something. ]

Ah, located that burning smell.

It's coming from the kitchen.

I will be there in less than five minutes. In the meantime, please attempt to move as far away from the source as possible.

That is more difficult than you would think.

Hopefully, the flames won't come this way and I won't worry about the bandages that keep this festering body together catching aflame and ruining it more than it already is.

[Not remarking on that, buuut at least he's making record time.

And as such, you may hear, some fifteen minutes later, your door being kicked down. Kojuro doesn't end up spending too much time locating you and helping you up.

Nope, no hesitation on his part. Interesting? Maybe!]

[There's at least one person who isn't happy about that. The little girl shows up probably only a minute or two after Kojuro and makes a huffy noise at seeing him]

I thought I was supposed to play the hero here. [But Bold steps in and Lain takes over, the aggressive stance becoming somehow softer and her expression turning concerned]

Do you need any help carrying him? Yoshitsugu-san, are you alright? [He's certainly stronger then she is, but still]

[ His eyes did widen then when there was little hesitation in helping him up. He did not even have to bring up to Kojuro that he would have to carry him out and see the disgust on the other's face. In its on way, it was disappointing, but he looks in the direction of the other shape that has entered.

The voice is familiar and he remains as he is. Ah, the young girl once more does not shy away from his diseased state. He doesn't understand these two, but that doesn't mean that he isn't going to use them simply because they were saving him from the literal fire now. ]

I continue to still breathe. A miracle in and of itself. But I suppose being so close to the ground, the smoke is no issue. [ A snicker. ]

[It wasn't TOO bad yet, at least...]

I am fine, Iwakura-san. See to the fire.

[Yeah, this guy kind of makes a living out of carrying REALLY HEAVY SHIT, Yoshitsugu, let him be your Superman for today.

That said, he's lugging you out.]
