[the distant sound of tapping can be heard as sugata murmurs quietly to himself. looks like he's too lost in thought to realize that his fingers accidentally slipped and hit the ever sensitive button on the mirror device.]

I can safely rule out being stuck in Zero Time. I think I can also safely say that I'm not at home either... With all the secrets the island has, I'm sure this would have been found sooner or later. [after a few moments of silence soft laughter can be heard.] It seems as if I've found a way to escape the inevitable. However I need to find--

[another pause. ah, looks like whoever was speaking finally realized that he was being recorded. the blue haired boy ducks out of view just to be on the safe side. after all he doesn't know what he pressed to activate it!]

Ah, hmm... As interesting as this place seems, I find myself tied to other obligations. Is there a way to return home? I was in the middle of something very important and I need to get back as soon as possible. [he pauses once more as he gives a small sigh. Well... now that this thing is on, might as well give it a shot...]

And if anyone knows or has seen a Takuto Tsunashi or a Wako Agemaki, please let me know. Takuto has red hair and red eyes and Wako has blonde hair and brown eyes.

Aaaa, that's great! [[Takuto needs some good news, with how he's been beside himself with worry over Yako's kidnapping...]] I'm sure he'll see this soon and be all over it, then!

And I don't think it's so much that things don't go further, as we're taken of that time. There's someone here from my world who's from a different time than I am, and one from even further than that. And since a lot of people are all from different worlds and times within those worlds, it makes sense that it would work that way, I think!

Ah, so he is here after all? [excellent. now all that's left is to find wako. it would be bad if she were stuck here too and someone else got to her before he could. after all he's not 100% sure if the others that were stuck in zero time were pulled in with him into this world. but it's better to be safe than sorry.

tho this next bit is a little startling. he quirks a brow in confusion.]

People can get pulled from different times here?

Un! He's been here since... aaaa, at least since January, I think! Probably before than...

And they can be! From all sorts of different times. One of the people from my world's even from 3,000 years ago, if you can believe it! [[Of course, the Pharaoh was sort of a special case.. but...]]

[nope.jpg he wasn't expecting to hear that.]

Since January? [he takes a moment to digest the information.] But that's impossible. I just saw him-- [oh no....] Unless he's from a different point in time.

I think it's because of how people come here. Because when they go back, it's to the same point in time again, you don't notice that they've gone. So he could be from the same time! You'd have to ask him about that, though.

[[Since Bakura doesn't know much about Takuto's world. Just that he got to pilot a mecha, which is awesome.

[he rubs his chin in thought. and, since he's so absorbed with all this new information he kind of forgets that he has those damn annoying gauntlets on. uhhhhg this is so confusing.] But wouldn't that make sense if he weren't here anymore? I can understand him going back and me not sensing that he was gone, but... [he shakes his head.] I suppose I can when I see him. [but he'd rather not.]

Time's something tricky, I guess! It's pretty common to have people from two different times back in their world in the same time in this world.

[[and to have people who have died be alive again, but that's something different and Bakura at least has enough sense not to mention something like that right off the bat to a new arrival!

[lsdkgjsf this time oh god. welp, it's a good thing sugata doesn't know anyone who has died recently. well except for that one guy, but he wasn't really close.]

I suppose.... [he offers bakura a small smile.] Sorry, this is all so new to me. Having different times is one thing I can understand, but being pulled from different points in time is different.

It's all right. It's sort of hard to explain, since I don't think anyone really understands it, so it's really okay if it all just sounds like nonsense!

Right. I'll get the hang of it eventually once I wrap my hand around it. [a pause.] So how do you know Takuto, if you don't mind me asking.

He's one of my good friends here! And we're in the drama club together.

[[the how he met Takuto is still utterly embarrassing months later]]

We've even gone on a mission together, sort of, with another friend.

The drama club? They have something like that here? [that catches his interest. he definitely wasn't expecting that sort of thing to be here. but no matter. takuto probably threw it together. and don't worry bakura. it's probably not as embarrassing as how he and wako met the guy.]

Mission? [a pause.] Oh, right. For the war, correct?

[[As far as Bakura's concerned, it was the most embarrassing way to meet someone. For him, anyway. And likely for Takuto too.]]

Un! Takuto-kun started it. Sort of to have as a bit of a distraction, I think, since sometimes things get too serious.

[[and he nods again at the question]] Did you have anyone explain how Weapons and Meisters work here yet?

[oh...... well, it's.... still not as embarrassing as washing up on shore! so don't be too ashamed ryou.]

I had a feeling he might have been the one to start something like that up. But it is rather nice to use it to take your mind off of certain things. [he looks up with a fond smile.] What kind of plays have you put on?

And no, not yet. [he shakes his head.]

We're still just working on the first one... things have sort of fallen behind, with everything... It's sort of a high fantasy comedic adventure. [[with a touch of tragedy but mostly a lot of fish puns.

Soooo many fish puns.

..oh right. The important thing.]]

Everyone when they arrive is either a Meister or a Weapon, since those those two together are the only thing that can defeat the kishin and the witches. You can have someone find out what you are so you'll know, since it'll be really helpful!

Oh, I see. Do you have a date you're working towards for production, or did that get pushed back? [either way he'll see it without fail.]

Who should I ask? Or can you find out by just looking at someone?

I think it got pushed back... you'd have to ask Takuto-kun that, I'm just working on the sets! [[a touch apologetic there]]

And there's some people who can tell by looking, but I think it's pretty rare. There's a machine in Shibunsen that can show it, sort of like an X-ray, and I think I saw some hand held ones there last I was by too... If you can find someone who knows how to use those, you can find out that way.

[he gives a tiny nod as he smiles.] No worries. I'll make sure to ask when I see him.

But thank you for all the helpful information. I'll keep that in mind the next time I visit Shibusen. [a pause.] I can safely assume that there are classes that are offered there to help one tap into whichever ability they have?

I don't think any of the classes are on that so much, but when there's morning training, you can find a lot of people to help with things like that. I help out other Weapons with figure out transformations, and there's always someone there to help Meisters figure out what they can do too.

Are those daily? Where and when do they start?

It's normally everyday. Since everything's been so crazy lately, they've been put off... I'm sure there'll be an announcement when they're starting again, though!

Of course. [he nods his head.] Thank you for all the helpful information. [!!! ah, where are his manners.] I'm Sugata by the way.

Nice to meet you, Sugata-kun! [[a warm smile]] I'm Bakura Ryou. Just Ryou is fine, though!

[[Since Takuto calls him that and it was just.. easier than dealing with the Ring Spirit's claim on his family name.]]

[he nods his head.] And the same to you too Ryou.

[[He's getting more and more used to his first name being used now. Each new friend that uses it helping that just a little bit more. Instead of it just feeling strange and uncomfortable, it seems... kinda nice now.

He smiles warmly]]

So will you be joining the drama club as well? [[since he's pretty sure Takuto would drag him in it anyway]] If so, I'm sure to see you there~
