it's big enough to fit quite a few people in there comfortably. it also doubles as a hot spring too, so that also explains the size.

he is an excellent swordsman. his skill even surpasses my own. he can get a little over his head from time to time, but he's good.

Well, aren't you praising him. I just wonder what good a fighter is if he lacks the ability to kill. As things are he seems more of a liability to those he cares about than any real help.

just because one lacks the ability to kill their opponent doesn't mean that they're a horrible fighter. takuto puts everything he has into protecting people. besides, there are other ways one can go about hurting another in battle without killing them.

Not killing an opponent only means to allow them to come back stronger. It's a liability.

not unless you find a way to stop that.

What if it is like a grudge? What if it can't be stopped and keeps growing stronger with each time it returns?

then I suppose that's when you'll have to take things into your own hands and deal with it in a way you're most comfortable with.

[There is a longer pause as Bakura stares at that text, mulling over it and what he ought to do (and what he instead does!) think of a solution like that while he is chewing his bottom lip thoughtfully. A way you feel most comfortable with, huh?]

What if that doesn't work? What if it never does?

then you push your feelings aside and do what needs to be done. sometimes you have to do things you don't want to do.

What if doing that will hurt those you care about or if it kills you?

[it's creepy how hard this hits close to home...]

then you take the consequences with stride. every action causes a reaction. but you can't really go back on it, even if death is unavoidable. it might be a cop out way to end all of this, and those close to you will probably hate you for your decisions, but... so long as their future prospers then it'll be worth it in the end.
