Ah, hmm... As interesting as this place seems, I find myself tied to other obligations. Is there a way to return home? I was in the middle of something very important and I need to get back as soon as possible. [he pauses once more as he gives a small sigh. Well... now that this thing is on, might as well give it a shot...]

And if anyone knows or has seen a Takuto Tsunashi or a Wako Agemaki, please let me know. Takuto has red hair and red eyes and Wako has blonde hair and brown eyes.

You might want to ask someone from Shibusen or look it up in the library afterwards. I can only tell you what I know about these things and I know there's probably a lot I still don't know and probably things I've got wrong. [Though she's been doing research since she came. It helps to stay informed, after all.]

As far as I know, the madness that drives a Witch is different than the Madness Wavelength. Madness itself is something that happens within a person's own soul but it can be made worse by an outside source. A Kishin is someone who has consumed the soul of innocents and turned into a monster themselves.

[he nods.] I'll keep that in mind.

That's all rather..... interesting. So can the Madness Wavelength strike someone at any given time? [a pause and then] Do you know if any of the guests here have been infected by madness? Is that even possible here? Also what counts as an innocent soul here?

For most people Madness seems to come and go. At least, I've never felt any lingering affects from it whenever it happened. [Then again she wasn't exactly one of those people who were incredibly susceptible to the Madness Wavelength.] And when people talk about innocent souls I think they just mean souls not belonging to a Kishin Egg or a Witch.

So the feelings and affects doesn't last long? Or is it based off of what a person can take? [he nods once more.] Ahh, I see. It's like one of the native's home.

In my experience they don't. It tends to last only as long as what's causing the Madness is in effect.

[he looks down in thought for a moment.] So you've experienced this wavelength? Or do you know someone who has?

The city's been affected by it a few times since I was brought here.

[And her last partner had been one of those who were more susceptible to it, but she wasn't exactly keen on bring that up.]

Have they been regular occurrences? Or are they happen more at random?

There used to be a lot more Madness in the area, but there's less ever since we took out the Madness Emitters around here.

Emitters? [he raises his brows slightly.] They had something that could actually produce it? [now that he thinks on it some more, he did recall someone mentioning that they spiked the water.... so to speak.]

Honestly, at this point I don't think anything they have is going to surprise me. I mean, given some of the technology I've seen here...

I don't know. I hadn't asked for any details. It was enough at the time that it had been destroyed.

[his eyes flash a little as he looks up and to the side in thought.] Does that machine still work?

Not anymore. The original had been destroyed and so had the one they made after that.

But there's no guarantee that they won't try to rebuild it.

Do you know if they're using blueprints? Or do you think that by know they're working off of memory?

They don't have the original blueprints but there's a chance they might have a copy or created their own.

[he looks down.] When was the last time they used that machine?

It was back in February.

Have they done anything else that drastic after that?

[She shook her head.]

Nothing that bad so far.

[he gives a small, tiny sigh of relief.]

Well that's good. Perhaps they lack the proper tools or materials to make that machine again.

I'd rather they didn't even know how to build it at all.
