Honestly. It's hard to say the exact time. It's been one thing after another that's lead up to this point. It's been over a year since people have been coming into our world. The Kishin, Asura, was released several years ago. That was probably the very start of it all.

Is that what you've been getting? No, it really hasn't been forever. We all felt very safe for a long time. Sure, evil was being fought, but not an all out war. [No wonder people are confused.]

The school was built to keep the kishin housed and help preserve peace. Not to mention, help individuals who found out they can transform into weapons.
