[Bumblebee switches on his video feed, but he still communicates via text.]

I was wondering if there happens to be anyone here that has experience with constructing or repairing advanced machinery. Specifically robots.

I am not asking because I need any repairs done to me now. It was brought to my attention some time ago when I was speaking to a human Medic that it would be a smart idea to find someone to work on me, should I sustain any minor to serious damage in future battles.

I am aware that it may be necessary to study me as I am now to understand the way that I function. I have no problem with that as long as my partner is allowed to be there.

You know, I had once considered asking you to teach me, in case anything happened. However, given my lack of knowledge with technology from my own world in this timeframe...

I hope you can find someone capable.

I am not sure how much I could teach you about my own inner workings. But should I fun someone to make repairs to me if I need them, you could ask them to teach you some things.

That is a thought, yes- I do learn best from observation, after all.

[It's actually probably really amazing how well she does that, to be honest.]

[Tony's got his arm raised. Yes, like that one obnoxious kid in school who really wanted everyone to know he knew the answer. Yes, he is a grown man. But this is kind of the same principle.]

Oo! Oo! [He waves the arm a little, then switches to an emphatic point of both thumbs toward himself.] This guy. I'm your man. Right here. Best engineer, electrics, mechanic, possibly ever. Maybe. Probably.

[Sure enough, in the background of the video feed there's evidence of what he's been building, stacks and stacks of schematics everywhere, the partial form of an uncased metal exoskeleton, and littered pieces of salvaged equipment and metal. Tony glances behind him as if realizing this, and adds] Pay no attention to that stuff, it's all crap. I'm on a budget. [There's a vaguely sad-sounding robotic noise from somewhere back there, and Tony glances again, this time speaking to whatever's back there] Except you, okay? Though technically you are made of junk.

Tony Stark comes to mind. I did suggest him to help you with keeping the cameras system safe from your robot "friend", so it works out.

I do know robotics. I would like to help.

Would you like to ask the person if you can observe once they agree or should I?

Tony Stark. Is he the one speaking up there?

[He remembers you from before! Though he never did get your name.]

Have you had any experience working on any type of machinery like me?

[Poor robot. Bee can pretty much tell by the sound he made how sad hearing that must have made him.]

I don't think he appreciates hearing that.

[Though Bee isn't sure what that creation actually is, but there is no doubting that it is robotic in nature.]

But you do seem like you may be able to fulfill my request. [At least judging from the schematics that he assume he made himself.]

I am Bumblebee. Who are you?

[Tony rolls his eyes] He makes the same noise when I tell him he can't have a Doritos Locos Taco. What would he even do with it? No mouth, no stomach. He's very melodramatic. And he is made of junk, see?

[he's apparently patched his comm device into a computer, because he leans forward to move the camera, and as he does so for a brief moment a faint blue light is revealed under his hoodie. Then the camera is pointed at a robotic arm, who rotates his claw curiously.] Say hi, buddy. [The main chassis, sure enough, appears to be made of appropriated parts from appliances and various machinery, with compartments perhaps for additional attachments. The robot wiggles his arm up and down a few times before Tony turns the camera back to himself.] Built him to organize my stuff. And yet all he does is watch TV all day. It's really kinda pathetic. [Most people would just fix it. Tony is not most people.]

Tony Stark, by the way. Good to meet you.

I will ask once you have chosen. It would perhaps be best if we both spoke to them about it together.

He is. He is a bit... eccentric. But when you pass through that, he seems to be pretty capable. Just give him a chance.

Never "living" robots. I have built robots and introduced them an advanced AI, but never something like you.

I used to pilot a Gundam, I'm used to advanced machinery and large robots. [ And plus he's already half giddy like a child at the idea of even being near Bumblebee at this point. ]

Alright. I am likely going to go with multiple people, if they are willing. [You know, since the BREW does make it a habit of sending people or. That, and there is always a chance that a particular person could be out of the city on a mission when he needs them.]

[Okay..so the bot is apparently made of junk. He's never seen a human create anything like that before. He could only imagine what this man could do if he had access to surprise parts and components. Bee waves to the little bot.]

It is good to meet you too, Tony. I have seen many human creations, but nothing like that before. I don't think any humans on the world that I came from could create an A.I. like the one you put in that.

I will. He seems extraordinary intelligent. [Perhaps one of the smartest humans that Bee has met, so far.]

[Man. You are talented, Demona.] Okay. Would you need to study me and the way I function at all?

A Gundam is something like me? [This would be the second human that he has met that has their own giant robot.]

Something like you. Less sentient and can't move without someone in the cockpit directing it, but my ol' buddy was probably just like you so far as his mechanics and everything else, and Howie and I always did his repairs when he needed them!

[ Deathscythe is still pretty much his baby even if it's destroyed. Sigh, hard lives. ]

He is. Perhaps a bit too enthusiast, but he gets it moving.

I think that would be wise before trying anything.

A wise idea. You never know what sort of circumstances may arise.

[Honestly, it's also for the best, just in case anything bad happens as well, so there are more hands to work on him in that unlikely event.]

[For someone getting such a high compliment from an alien robot, Tony seems pretty unsurprised.] Yeah. I have a habit of building things nobody else can. Been making these guys since I was a kid, though. [Probably better not to ask why he worked on AIs as a child]

You should see JARVIS. Well. Not see, meet. He doesn't have a specific body, basically just runs everything, so to see him you'd have to look at his code, and that embarrasses him. I think you and he'd get along.

[Human ingenuity never ceases to amaze.]

That is many years beyond what the humans of the Earth that I was taken from could create.

Would you need to study me to see how similar I function compared to your Gundam?

At least you know that he is passionate about what he does.

I take it that you do not have JARVIS here with you? [Bee would love to meet any sentient machinery that has been created by a human. If only to see how free thinking and similar to his kind it was.]

My reasoning exactly. You learning some stuff would be good too. In case something happens to me on the battlefield.

I get the feeling that I'm technically from the future compared to this place. [ Duo shrugs, laughing lightly. It's weird to think that he was a future dweller in any sense, but there it was. ]

If you don't mind, I think that'd be best. It's more than likely that you do work differently, but I've been a parts and garage rat since I can remember so I'll adapt quickly.

Never go anywhere without him. Say hi, J! [the video feed blips, becomes grainy and delayed, and in the background a crisp British voice crackles over apparently terrible speakers]

Sir, need I remind you I do not presently have the processing power to run your communicator and my audio output concurrently. [in the clipped video footage, Tony appears to be gesturing towards the screen, and you can almost hear the British voice sigh in a long-suffering manner... or maybe that's just implied in his tone]

And I admit, he is pretty cool. He builds amazing stuff.

Hopefully, the skills won't ever be something you have to use for my sake. But better safe than sorry.

Sure! When are you available? My schedule is kind of sporadic at times so it's just easier to know when you're open and all..

[She's kind of easily distraught when it comes to people she cares about being in trouble.]
